I have 1 veg room in a 4x4 closet with 1000w MH right now...I have outside air kickin in there though...it stays at 80-84, could be cooler, but I have no problems....it's not closed off, it does have a 3x4 opening that helps to keep things cool too

well that's going to produce a ton of heat. what kind of fans are you thinking of using? you're going to need a fan that pulls out at least 400cfm of air from your 4x4 grow area. and then you need another fan of about 250-300cfm that pulls fresh air in from a cool room in the house or some other place that's fresh and cool. otherwise, you'll have temps well over 100 degrees f.

I have an Intake fan thats inline 6 inch rated 300 cfm but thats bullshit for sure
I have an 8 inch inline thats rated 500 cfm for pulling thru light again that rating is Bullshit

I have a 4 inch can fan type pulling thru a carbon filter rated 185 That one really pulls a lot of air Like a jet

1 18 inch oscillating fan
1 stanely squirrel cage blower <----puts out a lot of air

that should be enough, just remember to bring fresh cool air that's lower in temperature than your grow room, obviously, into your grow room. also i would recommend to have your lights on during the night, that usually helps a lot.

I ran a setup just like that for years, it will be a great setup with proper ventialtion. You should be able to produce some really nice buds!

bla bla bla.

I do (well did, cause I run a new set up now) run a 1k with 6" 400cfm fan in a 4x4 tent. In attic, with window unit AC...temps never over 85 during hottest part of the year (107 heat index)

it can be done

I have a 1000w in a 4x4.. Well its a dimmable ballast so I run 750w when its hot then as it gets cooler(later at night) i crank it up to 1000w. I run a little warm with the 1000w around 82 degrees but i dont really seem to have any problems. For me the 600w wasn't giving me the coverage i wanted ( I have a radiant AC reflector, would have been better with a larger reflector). If you live in a cooler area go for the 1000w you will be stoked on it.

What kind of fan it is? 4x4 will work but its going to stay in the 80s. that doesnt mean its going to cook your plants or anything its just not optimal
