Has anyone taken a "flood and drain tray" and filled it completely with medium, and planted straight into it. Sees like you could fit far more medium than you would be able to by filling the trays with pots. I was thinking of a dripper system, everyone screams "FLUSH and RUNOFF" but ive never had an issue not watering till runoff and no medium flush.

I think BudBummer on IG does that.... his soil trays look bigger than 4x4..... but not as deep as a 3gal pot

I'm crawling around in a sealed 4.5 x 8.5 x 4.33 wooden box. Much easier to play with decent containers. Hey smoke this while you're getting that together, the old blueberry diesel...

I used to and it worked pretty well. The roots have a lot of room to spread so they never get root bound.
Thats what i was thinking. Obviously i would want to only use plants that ive run before so i wouldnt have to worry about balls or nanners popping up. I think itd be nice to transplant my clones from 1 gallon pots straight into the tray.

Im in a 12x8 room with 2 4x4 trays so i have plenty of room to get around the perimeter. Ill be smoking on this as soon as the cure finishes. 20200201_025318.jpg
