New to the forum. whats up everyone! So starting off my 2022 outdoor season with Sour Space Candy. Seedling is now 5 328EAF39-266F-41E7-93BD-435060C87322.jpeg
days old. Its currently in a Solo cup filled with Miracle Gro sphagnum peat moss. I’ve only watered it 3 times since it sprouted. 2 times with regular RO drinking water and 1 time with Rice Water. Let me know what you guys think on how its looking so far. Is it growing at a regular rate for being 5 days old? To me it looks like its growing slow. I will be posting updated pics of my grow, maybe you guys could kindly help me out and give some advice so i could have a successful grow this year. Thank you!

Looks good so far, always wanted to try outdoor, just never been in a position to, how long you vegging indoors? Feminized seed or you got a few more going? Would suck to put all that time in just to find balls in August

Looks great.
Please don't transplant into miwhackale grow. Baby deserves better.
Good luck
Yes I will be transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots with Roots Organics Original soil when she out grows the solo cup. Then transplant to 20 gallon fabric pots with Roots Organics Lush soil when she hits pre flower.

Thank you! yes its a feminized seed. I never vegged indoors. In the morning i have it outside my front door getting sun from 7am - 6:30pm. Then i move her to the back of my house outdoors under a light until 12 midnight. she gets 7hrs of darkness as of right now. This is my first time using supplemental lighting which I’ve heard about so that she gets atleast 16-18 hrs of light since the sun is out for about 12hrs as of right now. As the days get longer she will get more sunlight than artificial light. Any thoughts on this strategy?

Should work alright. I’m an indoor guy though, I know lots of people veg for a month or two in a room or tent before putting em outside and can grow some monsters but I’m a renter in a prohibition state so I’ll stick to the tents for now.

Is supplemental lighting even a thing? im only trying it because i heard about it and it makes sense to me. lol

Yeah it’s a thing and if you’re in a window you definitely want it. I wouldn’t really call that supplemental lighting though. Usually it means running overhead lights in a greenhouse to extend the day or make up for cloud cover. Indoors it usually means extra side lighting or uv

All of my outdoor plants, when starting out, get sunlight during the day while they can, and sit in light all night inside, until the weather gets better, then transplant to their final home in the "Swamp" I've never had an issue, and it doesn't seem to bother my plants at all.

Right on! do your plants still yield alot using this type of method to increase the amount of light your plants get?

If my plants are in the shade for a couple hours of the time outside, is it still considered getting indirect sunlight? or is that considered no light at all?
