I know nothing about the machine. I just want to see the finished product when your done so im subbing in hopes you post it.

Hell no. Those machines are awesome? What did you not like about it? I've only used it twice but I'm loving the results. Way less work than hand stirring and i did 12 washes in 2 hours.
I've only run 3 batches through my machine. I can say you are going to have a wet mess and be very cold. And be ready for a long night or shift. 6 - 9 hours per batch.
The best thing you can do is go watch a Frenchy Cannoli vid on youtube and see if thats what you'd be interested in doing. I follow his tutorials and its easy asf. Subcool has a thread on here about frenchys old ways and frenchy himself used to respond. As little ice as possible with short 30 second runs to start. Imo, 10minutes is way too long. And dont use the bag. You want the material to be in a vortex, the bag confines it. You do use a lot of water with Frenchy's method I'll admit.
Frenchy is the man. But is your washer actually clean after washing? Keep the bag. These cheap machines do not fully drain and have pockets and recesses throughout. Once you do your first run, take note of what you forgot so you're prepared for the next session.
If youre in a cold climate, keep your water outside the night before.
Do the extraction outdoors if its not too cold and youre not freezing your ass off.
Nest your bags. Have a bucket for each bag. Cut the bottoms out so they nest into eachother 220 the first one you see.
Have a table set up for your machine with enough room for spoons, spray bottle, tools and to be able to lay a clean towel on for your bags to rest on between cleanings.
Frenchy uses a lot of stainless steel now, but he has a vid on yt specifically about these portable washers. I highly recommend it good luck, hash making is addicting!
The machine is way less work than stirring without question. My last run with it was right around 2 -2 1/2 hours not including the drying and sorting and shaving. And like most people after you do it a couple times you quickly realize most of the bags can be combined or just left out. Dry ice is so quick, and clean, and handy that it's so I do now. The bags I listed give quality results and just like any process you get better at it each time. From there I have different grades to cook or make qwet with, as well as LOTS of primo kief to burn. Emphasis on lots...as in quantity. It's shocking how much you get. Naysayers always say it's too contaminated, but my friends seem to enjoy it and I'm really happy.....oh yeah my last dry ice run was 2 harvests worth of trim and I was finished in 30 minutes...that would have been 4-5 hours at least with 2 sets of bags. But we all like what we like and I totally get that. Good luck!

I spend a lot of time cleaning my washer out between runs. Mold is not something i want mixing in with my hash. Im also running small amounts that are one strain, so a work bag just doesnt really work out for me. There woukd be more bag than bud lol.

I love the whole process of working with water. The smells that come out, the simplicity of what is actually needed. The steps dont bother me and I can make my own ice
