Hey guys I'm doing a grow in a custom projection tv cabinet. I'm using a 400w lumatek switchable ballast running 400w flourolux metal halide for veg. And a 400w flourolux hps for flowering.

Strains are unknown as the seeds I'm using. (Bagseed)

Nutrient\watering\soil regimen:
I'm using roots organic soil by aurora. (Great stuff
When planting or transplanting I used happy frog jump start fertilizer 3-4-3 with active soil micr obes. I just mixed up a handful of soil and a handful of the happy frog, mixed it up and put that in the root zone.
Humboldt honey for the entire grow. To keep the microbes goin. 0-0-1
At 3ml per gallon.

For flowering I use ginormous by humboldt. 0-6-16
Once a week at 2ml per gallon.
Also floralicious plus was given to me as a sample. 2-.8-.02 as a foliar spray
Once week as well at half a teaspoon per gallon. I spray on undersides of lower foliage.
And of course H2O is ph balanced at about 6.4

Heres about week 4 of veg. I germed 10 seeds, picked the strongest two and planted those, i let them grow in small 1 liter pots. At about week two i transplanted into gallon pots. I plan on keeping them small because of the small cabinet.
Plant A. no lst or trimming whatsoever.

Plant B Fimmed at about the third node. Four tops, it responded well.

Sorry about the lack of pictures. I had no intention of starting a thread until today. Im home sick and i got bored.

Plant A on the left, plant B on the Right. dont mind the little one in the center, hes just a week old and a bystander, and a last resort if theyre both male.

I started 12/12 and switched the bulb at about week 6 of vegging. At week 2 of the switch, at age of week 8 plant A turned out to be a male. sorry no pics he went straight into the creek,

I see alot of views but no comments or feedback. Whats up guys, am i doin good? also update tomorrow, ive got lights running from 430 am to 430 pm so i have to check them before work.

Looks good man.

I'm not a experienced grower so I can't comment on how the plant is doing, but I love the grow box! Very creative. You have all the right elements going on.

What do you do about temps, and smell?

Hey Guys, about the ventilation, and stuff. Im currently running it with the screen open because all i have at the moment is an exhaust fan, its a bathroom fan pulling air out of the cab. I plan on adding the intake and stuff once i free up some cash. im not having any real odor issues yet, but once i finish all the ventilation, i will scrub the air on the exhaust with carbon filters. Overall temps are great. 76 to 82 with lights on, 60 to 65 with lights off. I gave it a test spin with the cab closed, and the temps were in the upper 90s, therefore im running with the door open.

Alright update, we have good news. My little bystander is a female, hell yeah!

I did notice the other day that ive got a nitrogen deficiency i believe on the newly proclaimed female, ill bump up the shit for her tomorrow. Please correct me if im wrong but thats what it looks like.

And heres my winner this morning.
Shes started to show a little nitrogen deficiency too, very mild though. I dont think you can see it in any of the pictures. Ill address it lightly on my day off tomorrow.

Also i forgot to mention, that i have two fans going for air movement in the cab as well.

Also this morning, i trimmed a few of the bigger lower leaves on my winner, the leaves in between the colas to allow more light penetration. I know im relatively new to this, but i do believe that the fim method is my topping method of choice. It doesn't always work, but when it does, it does a mighty fine job. Here when i get it down, i plan on buying some seeds, probably some type of cheesey strain, white widow, something potent and relatively easy to work with. Theres also a side of me that wants to get an exotic beautiful looking strain, but it may be too soon for that. I recently picked up two 4 bulb 2' t5 ballasts, i want to start pursuing the sog method and start cloning and stuff.

I could be wrong, but looking at the darkness of the leaves it may be nitrogen toxicity.

When ever you get seeds, I can recommend the Seedsman White widow. I haven't harvested/smoked it. But at first I had 8 seeds, all 8 sprouted (different strains) same conditions and everything. All but three died, the WW has thrived through out the whole thing. Ph was upper 8's most of the time, just got down to normal. Looks to be a very strong strain. smoke reports are great.

I will be following this as it goes on. Wish you the best of luck.
