55 degree's to cold?

is 55 degree's to cold for plants to grow? they were previously in a 70 degree environment and now possible going into a 55 degree environment.

I don't even like my plants going less then 70...

Im in NYC so it still gets to like 20 deg F here so I just keep my windows closed... my heaters keeps its at about 75... perfect temp...

I am upstate NY myself....indoor growing in my basement. My temps are from 68-75. I do have a space heater run with the light off.
