5th WEEK, PLANT WONT FLOWER

you didnt say how long you vegged for before changing the light cycle, there are a couple different things that could be going on here so a bit more info would help and a pic, you possibly could have a hermie there or you 12/12 before the plant mature and your just now seeing pre flowers, your either flowering or not. If a plant hermies due to light leaks in your dark period and/or changing the schedule. Take a close look at the plant and make sure your not seeing hairs and also male sacks as well mixed in, this could be why its not progressing the way you think it should. I dont want to scare you its also possible as mentioned that you entered the 12/12 with a young sativa and its just taking a while to mature then flower. the best yields are gained by allowing the plant to mature before entering the 12/12 cycle unless growing more plants and doing sog. Take a closer look and give some pics if you can and make sure you have no light leaks

well i went in the room when the light was off and there has been no light leaks so far, its just taking forever to flower and its a bitch, ive had one bagseed grow before this but it flowered helluva lot faster than this one. but i cant have it getting any taller the light cant go up any more and i dont want the plant within 10-15 in. of the bulb. so any comments on what to do about the plants height?

i've grown mex sativas huge some times late to flower.But i've never grow sativas indoor.Sativas love to grow outdoor 9 - 15' plants i mean huge.but that should have started flrng by now.I love to grow in soil much less complicated for me and grow great plants. and just pull top down be careful that should give u more room.really bro good luck

well i really cant tell u how to go bout it as i have never grown sumthin that big w/o flowerin. if i was u id take cuttins and start sumthin smaller, cux wen she does start to flower she will prbly double or triple in size, gl man wit that monster

cut off all nitrogen and leave it in darkness for 24 48 hrs.. or have u tried that already?

i havent gave it 24 hours of darkness only from 18/6 to 12/12

i have read in a lot of art that if you leave the plant in total darkness then it helps the flowering begin we did it with ours for 48 hrs and she was puttin out white hairs 2 days later!

Its never too late for LST... Looks like your gonna need a lot of twine for that monster though!

Sativa's can take upto 16-18 weeks to finish flowering! I think your doing a good job with that tree !

I say LST (low stress training), or you could angle the tree and adjust the pot slightly attach string on a thick part of the stem and attach the string to the ceiling so the tree is at this type of angle " / " maybe a bit lower, that would give more grow space and allow more light to bud sites on the side too, depending on how bendy and or brittle the tree is depends on how much you can bend and tie the top down, so tilting the tree is a good option - STELTHY
