I decided I'd post this journal right when the grow becomes the most interesting. We have 4 Killer Kush Fast Version 6-7 Week Flower period in 7 Gallon Vivosun fabric pots in 16 inch saucers, currently on day 13 after switch from 12/12 going into day 14. These were vegetated for 7 weeks exactly from sprout, they were sprouted with the paper towel method and planted into 1 gallon airpots-after 3 weeks they were transferred to the 7 gallon fabric pots they reside in now. They were topped on day 21, and then again on day 28, the plant in the back right hand side is the monster of the 4, it was supercropped the last day of veg. I've been defoliating gradually, but with a relatively large defoliation over several days at the switch to 12/12

I'm using the Happy Frog organic dry nutrient line as my base, with Elemental as my cal-mag supplement. The soil being used is Pro-mix with 20% EW castings & 20% pearlite added. The plants were started in FF Ocean forest in 1 gallon fabric pots, on this same day I mixed in 2 TBS/Gallon soil of Happy Frog All Purpose, 3 Tbs Diatomaceous earth per 5 gallons of soil, in additon I added 2 TBS of Elemental per 5 gallons of soil-all this soil was stored in 20 Gallon Rubbermaid totes and allowed to "cook" for 3 weeks- I turned the soil over in the bin weekly and used a spray bottle of filtered water keep the soil moisten. The plants were transferred from the 1 gallon pots to the 7 gallon pots filled with this cooked soil at 3 weeks. At 6 weeks of veg I top dressed with 2 TBS/Gallon Soil of Happy Frog Tomato and Vegetable as the transition fertilizer. They were switched to 12/12 after 7 weeks of veg and today, day 14 12/12 I just top dressed all the plants with 2 TBS/Gallon HF Fruit & Flower and about a cup of EW castins, this will be their final top dress as it should last the remaining 5 weeks until harvest.

In addition to the dry nutrients I have a weekly root drench on the weekend of 1 tsp/gallon Kelp Me Kelp You, 1 TBS/gallon Big Bloom, 1 TBS gallon Ful-power Fulvic/Humic Acid to aid nutrient uptake and Mammoth P at the recommended rate of .6ml gallon-so I add 3ml/slightly more than half teaspoon to 5 gallon bucket of water. I'm using filter tap with a starting ppm of roughly 150ppm. I Foliar feed within 15 minutes of lights out on Saturdays from week 3 of veg to week 3 of bloom +/- depending on how thick the flowers are-I stop just after bud set. In quart sprayer of water I mix in 1/4 tsp Flowers Kiss, 1/2 tsp Kelp Me, 1 tsp Ful-power, 1ml Sledhammer as a wetting agent, I ph this to 6.2 and foliar feed in that 15 minute window after lights out that the stomata are still open. Finally, I use the Roots Organic HPK as a late flower bloom boost. I replace the kelp me with it in the weekly root drench from weeks 4-7 with 8 week strains, I'll only apply it weeks 4-6 with the Killer Kush as it's a 7 week "Fast" strain-I apply at the rate of 2 tsp/gallon

I control fungus knats with a combination of DE, Mosquito Bits (about once weekly) yellow sticky traps, and just plain old bowls of water with a few drops of dish liquid I empty and fill these daily.

Day 19 Flower Photo Update:

Killer Kush were top dressed with 2 TBS/Gallon FoxFarm Fruit and Flower dry organic fertilizer and the same amount of ew castings, I mixed the fertilzer & ewc in a bowl and then massage into the surface on all the pots, this was back on day 14 because this is a 6-7 week "fast" strain. That was day 14, today, day 19 close to day 21 I watered in with filtered tab water 3 tsp/gallon Roots Organic HP2 0-4-0, 3 tsp/gallon Roots Organic Ancient Amber 0.1-0-.01 and 3 tsp/gallon Roots Organic Trinity 0.25-0.1-1 Next week and the next couple weeks after I plan to replace the HP2 with HPK 0-4-3 as my organic bloom booster, then final week will be plain water flush with fulvic acid and mammoth P

I've been battling fungus gnats also, with the things you're using. I bought and applied some beneficial nematodes to all of my plant containers and all of my soil bags/bins. I'm hoping that will do the trick.

You have nice plants and excellent training techniques!

Thanks! At the moment I've seemed to have conquered those critters-I've got a 25 watt green light in the grow room-outside the grow tent- back when I had an infestation I noticed they were swarming around that green light while the main garden lights were off, so I put a small bowl directly under that lamp water with a few drop of dish liquid-the next morning there must've been a couple hundred of them in there. So started keeping a couple cereal bowls on the tent floor, I had to empty them out daily, but they were quite effective, even though they're only $5 or $6 for a pack I think I'm not buying yellow sticky traps anymore-I'll just use the bowls of water for now on!

Ace looking plants! Keep up what you're doing.
No faults outside the gnats. We all deal with those suckers from time to time.
Have the Happy Frog dry's, as well. Great lineup for a national brand if unable to source local individual ingredients for more control. :D

Definitely going to be following along!!! bongsmilie

Still knocking it out the park. Absolute beauties you have on your hands. :hump:bongsmilie

What is your light distance down to? Just started an auto run. Bout 10 days in and have the es300v2 sitting at 50% power and ~36" away.

Hi! Thanks. I got the light distance down to 18"-22", a few colas on the one large plant were around 12" away-that plant was light stressed and actually produced some seeds!

Have you been increasing the light intensity every few days?

I'm on day 21 with autos for the first time. 36" with 100% for 18/6.

Ran an Afgoo while waiting for these seedsmans. Only approached 75-80% due to heat issues over the summer.

I've got all the lights connected to a kill-a-watt meter, I ran @ 70% power through veg @ 24-30", then @ 18" away @ 70% up until the 3rd week of bloom then I quickly increased it to 100% over a few days and left it at that. Actually wound up raising one of the lights a few inches
