5x5 tent Organic

Here you go my growmie:

I am leaning towards Medic Grow. Probably based on the same guy as you
Good effort, FoxFarm shit aint a practical choice for me round my neck of the woods.
I'll be aiming eventually for a 100% organic grow ASAP, i.e; without the use of chelated/liquid fertilisers.
In the meantime it's prepared for 99% organic (imo), likely certified organic, I just personally believe that high concentrate fertilisers aren't entirely organic.

Do you have fluoride, chloride & chloramines in your water supply? That's another thing I gotta consider pretty intently for this shit as I don't consume none of that. Got myself a chloramine, chloride filter hose attachment but could be done with just UV treatment anyway, will probably just see how tap water goes with that for the first run and see if I have any fluoride toxicity, then will buy a high micron/reverse osmosis filter if that's the case.

Soil: A premium mix I bought wholesale a tonne of that has been out the back for too long now without use.
Dolomite lime; Avg(20%Cal10%Mag).
Organic Azomite rock dust.
Diatomaceous earth.
EWC.

Gypsum salt - (prefer the calcium here over Epsom's magnesium due to my belief that I'd rather stronger xylem structure(cal), than worrying too much about phloem excessive magnesium which can cause lower flower production.
Small but thoroughly mixed amount of ORGANIC zeolite for liquid absorption/slow release.
Rather small mixture of horse manure (reluctant to use chicken for a myriad of reasons), this is meant to semi-replace Bone/Blood meals, as I actually think they smell way worse than horse shit.
And might try to add some biochar in there too before setup.
My take loosely based on SubCools SuperSoil RIP.

What about Great White Mycorrhizae? Or House n' Garden's shit for roots? I've used both in the past prior to wanting to go organic. What's your opinion on that kinda shit? I'm likely going to defer from that shit forever now and opt for this - https://www.hygen.com.au/product/omegazyme/
It's organic certified ingredients (sea kelp etc.), the company just cbf with certifying it due to it not being cost effective as it's their only certified organic product.

So probably opt with that & a DIY chelation of diatomaceous earth/EWC tea for a little vegetative growth initially for the autos for root stimulation (then primarily for veg when I get onto photoperiods again).

For flower (probably almost immediately with these autos) going for this organic bat guano liquid fertiliser called Nature's Own.

Sorry for the fucking sermon, just hyped to get back into growing and hijacking a little of ya thread to get the setup cemented in my head.
Leave ya to it, look forward to seeing ya buds thicken up soooon :D:D:D

I understand. It's an exciting hobby!!
Sounds like you're setup to succeed.

I wouldn't use DTE in EWC tea. I want soil biology. Life is good!

The only bottles used in my grow are for IPM: Regalia, Garden Friendly Fungicide, and Dr. Zymes.

Get it!

Regalia or dr. Zymes ? Ik my local grow shop has dr zymes so probably going to get that tomorrow regardless. Those are the only two I’ve heard that truly don’t effect flower. What do you think?

Yeah I don't really know for sure if that was a wise idea outright but why do you think otherwise?
I've found it can be good outdoors for a little foliage spray for insect deterrence etc. So I've always thought I best do it indoors incase of an infestation and just mix it in with EWC as a tea.

It just being in the soil is for additional silica.

Let me know your reasoning or past experiences if you could please.

DTE is microscopic razor wire. Microbiology is important to nutrient uptake. EWC tea is full of life. There are good and bad bugs. If soil is filled with good the bad aren't welcome.

I'm using Regalia as a soil drench. Sprayed Dr. Zymes last week after the lights went out. Minor pistil damage. In your situation I would spray Dr. Z immediately. After spray I'd remove nastiness from area. If you don't mind, how did you get it? What was your IPM program?

Light defoliation last night. Ladies are happy. BBG is really tall stretchy and slow to flower. MBs coming on. Gotta get to WCs defoliation and BBG tonight.

All 3 beans in paper towel popped and were placed in veg tent. 5 total Cherry Trance. Hopeful.

I just used mammoth canna control during veg which seemed to work great but went through 2 power outages during my run and 1 day during lights off it went out and was probably not running for 5 plus hours ://. And on some rookie shit I didn’t preemptively treat well I was super early into flower… figured it’d be fine also seem to have a lock out / nitrogen toxicity on one of my plants making it weaker saw signs on that plant first. Really just dumb mistakes. And then not being proactive when I kinda new they would get it .. really just looking to have smokeable decent weed at this point lol like would rather have stressed / burnt hairs then mold. Much appreciated

We learn together my friend.

Bet your IPM will be on point moving forward. My last run was whyted up with that PM shit. I have nightmares about unzipping the tent and seeing it everywhere. I'm gonna finish defoliation tonight. Might spray again because I agree with you: damaged pistils ain't shit compared to the whyte plague.
Did you spray? How are things now? Pics? I've washed many harvests in H202 successfully, you will have good ganja to smoke.

Finished defoliating back row WCs and BBG. Will do a Regalia soil drench tonight. Ladies are happy.IMG_20220302_195328.jpg
One of the Bodhi beans has broken soil. One of the two placed directly in soil. The 3 in the paper towel were just cracked when I planted them. Tap root was still in the seeds. Ok done rambling.

getting the zymes tomorrow morning my lgs that says they have it online didnt. :/ but oh well.. better late then never ig. Sad they are just starting to bulk up and smell perfect. And are you saying h2o2 bud wash like post harvest. Or just spraying with h2o2 either way end product is the same ? Have you ran the same cultivar with and without using sprays during flower ? I’ve grown sun grown with perfect ipm and no sprays during flower. Was some of the best bud I’ve smoked . Better then a lot of indoor club weed I see now a days it’s sad. Not just see. Smoothness actually flavor and quail it’s of the terpenes. Makes me think they all h2o2 spray to clear testing on top of just drying to fast

Shitty pic but you can still see how frosty these ladies are getting truly does just have me sitting here anxious and bummed. Can’t expect much from a first run but is more just about the integrity of the product.

so with the dr zymes. Is it actually going to rid my pm after a few treatments if everything else is kept under control? Or am I going to be spraying weekly until harvest ? :/. Plan on adding another fan and just added a large dehu in the room my tent is in. Keeping my night rh as low as possible. Around 35-40 and during the day no higher than 50. Have already over defoliated imo in hopes to rid the pm post treatment. Just not using neem or anything else like that. So is Zymes H2o2 or are you saying I could h2o2 as well and be fine ?

I'm saying that I believe you are good at this. I don't see any pm in your pic. Unfortunately I don't have experience with Dr. Zymes. My first bottle. H2O2 wash post harvest is what I was referring to. Last resort.
I am hoping this expensive ass Regalia soil drench works, so far so good. Mind won't accept that I am being vigilant without spraying. Today is day 33 for me and I don't want to spray again.

Heavy Regalia drench last night. All things are as they should be.IMG_20220304_061605.jpg

tbh I haven’t seen any new spores form after I did the mammoth canna control. Then rinsed with water after. Very light ofc made sure they were fully dry was more of a spot treatment on every leaf then anything. Also am just hitting 4 weeks (28 days). Are you saying I shouldn’t do a dr zymes spray ?

I am not saying that.

I think we are in extremely similar boats. I'm day 33 and afraid to spray again, but don't feel good about 40 days without spray. If I didn't have the GFF and Regalia for soil drench my decision would be easier, I'd spray. I was advised to use Dr Zymes after lights out to limit possible problems...
