Has anyone run this?

No thats its power draw bro
The "600w" part of the title is a selling scam to make it sound like its more powerful, its taken from, for example 200x 3w diodes.
But diodes get ran at a lot less than full power to make them not burn out.

They are around the same efficiency as HID lighting, maybe less. So you need 45-50w per square foot (power draw)

Whats the price of them where you are?

Yea doesnt that mean it only uses 275w in power? What does that have to do with yield? Iv seen countless videos with side by side comparisson with led/hps of similar wattage and the results are great. Iv also read countless reviews to make sure im not getting a biased opinion ,and majority state that a viparspectra of similar rated wattage will get the same yield thereabouts of a corresponding wattage hps? This is all in relation to vspectras. Not other leds. If im coming accros as ignorant or arrogant i dont mean to be. Im just confused as to why u think what a unit uses in power coincides with yield? I thought it came down to par and light penetration/ intensity light spectrum etc??

Yes and no,, LED does convert more light per W used than HPS. but you have a light that only converts 275 w of electricity to light (less heat and other wastage). It doesn't magickly make 600w of light for 275w of draw.
275 W of led (draw) is probably around the same light output as say 350w to 400w (probably not 400 to be fair) of HPS. And 400w of HPS x 2 in that space might be OK for veg but not enough for decent flower.

Edit: there are better more techno people than me that may step in and explain it better but they are selling a 275w light as a 600w light. Its not a 600w light or it would draw 600W.

Sweet bro. Can you put ac units in the actual tent or do you have to have it in room tents drawing from? Its in a unsealed double garage and id b spending way to much trying to cool whole garage down

No idea , I'm usually dealing with snow LOL
My guess is it depends on the type of A/C

Lol there you go. Fuk bro 2 summers back here in oz we were getting 2-3 40°c + days, il do some searching
I don’t have those sort of temps here but I’d be tempted to put it in the garage to keep that cool and make sure you vent the tent to outside

600w vspectras are on the small side. Get a couple 1200 watters, or go with a different light. Also, heat could be an issue if not vented and cooled.

I'm gonna disagree with you and go with 2 600w's. You will get a little better coverage that way, having two spaced evenly instead of one in the center. But if you had to do it with one, its doable. Get the biggest reflector you can.
I run two 600's and just switched from 1k but venting and heat in a tent is a PITA with 2 lights

Yea iv been doing more digging and luke was right. Im after yield and unless i wanna spend over 1k im not gunna get it with leds. So yea now tending towards 1000w or 2 600w hps?
Also look into Quantum boards ( a couple aussies use them and get real good results- see the aussie thread in general discuss) and if your tech minded cobs and strips. The modern LED stuff does put out a little less heat than a lamp, which can be a winner in an aussie summer.

DIY, get some cookie sheets or whatever, get some strips, if you don't mind doing some drilling and plugging in some wires you can have the latest greatest diodes for cheapy cheapycook12.jpg cook13.jpg
