600 hps

ive got my lamp n ballast n bulb. some1 says i got the wrong hps bulb. i got the grow bulb they say, so i called him a clampet. is their a gorw bulb ad bud bulb for hps? any1 help cheers

well, hps is used mostly for budding, but you can get conversion bulbs that put out metal halide spectrum light with a hps ballast

both MH and HPS bulbs are clear. HPS bulbs tend to be thinner and more tube-like whereas the MH bulbs are fatter, larger and well ... more bulbous. Be careful! using the wrong bulb can result in fire!
