I've tried to find some input on this question because im sure its been asked before. I want to get a new ballast and the 1000watt one is only a few dollars more than the 600 watt ballast.. I dont have enough room for a 1000 watt bulb or the heat...
If I use a 600 watt hps in a 1000 watt regular ballast will it work? I mean its the lightbulb drawing 600 watts from the ballast and not the ballast giving the bulb 1000 watts correcT?
