600w hps distance

Hey all! I’m growing 4 wwa’s under a 600w hps light with air cooled reflector. they are deep in flower and I’ve been wondering if my light isn’t too close. The light is about 10” from the tallest plant and im kinda out of room to move it up. Ive seen some charts that say 14-16” but I’m not sure if it would be the same with an air cooled reflector. it easily passes the warm hand test.. whatcha think?

Thanks Bob, I think I can squeeze out a few more inches

I never ran mine closer than 16"

mine are at 18 any closer and I get heat stress

air cooled , no glass
