600w Hps To Much?

i am useing a 3ft w 2ft d 4ft h in closed(stealth) cabinet with a 265cfm squirrel cage blower exhaust fan with a carbon scrubber for oder an a inline fan.it has a 600w hps mounted at the top of the cabinet.will this be to hot for my plant? if so what can i do about it.this is how the company made it and ship to me(lamp has its own fan and ballast

use 2 fans for blowing between the lights and top of plants, what strain u goin to grow with it?

cant change set up i was all pre built it does how ever have to flors mounted one on each side vertically in the cabinet but the dont seem to be doing to good(plant seems to be growing slow

u can LST the plant to fit under that light, i was wondering what strain cause i thought u would never b able to grow sativa in there.. u could train it (Low stress training) and put into flower early ,, i have 600hps and i acn put my light as close as 8 inches with 2 osciliating fans osciliating between tops of plants and lights..

whats your temp in the room? even with the glass you need to have atleast a foot or more between tops and hood. veg to 12" and hope it doesn't get more than another 6" during flower and your good.

right now i am useing the flors and not the hps. befor i use the hps i just wanted to know if it burn my plant thanks for all the replys

When your plants next dark cycle comes around take the plants out and put them somewhere else thats suitable while you install the HPS to test the temps out. Then you'll know exactly where you stand and how many degrees cooler you need to get it which will help when buying ventillation.
