600w & x Amount of Plants?

how many plants can be grown under a 600w successfully? i heard that a 400w can be good for up to 4-8 nice sized plants(3.5ft) grown efficiently. as im reading this it sounds kinda confusing cause i cant find the right words right now lol:joint:.but hopefully someone can point me n the right way. is 6 a good amount under a 600w?:confused: THANKS!:peace:

you aren't going to get much help unless you do a little more research. unless you have legal limits, dont worry about plant numbers just concentrate on developing a full, well managed canopy. SOG takes little effort to get a good canopy. growing large plants will take more work. i generally use a foot print of 2'x2' for a 400w, 3'x3' for a 600w, and 4'x4' for 1000w. ill add an extra foot to the 1000w coverage if the plants are next to a highly reflective surface or if there are several lights next to each other.
