Ya I'll be doing that method next time. Keep them all natural for now see what happens than at least I'll know first hand.
You are just going to take nutrients from your fully developed buds. Those tiny buds won't even fill a one hitter.

Funny I'm watering as we speak and decided to cut s bunch of medium bottom branch's that were just so obviously useless. Even if it stunts them for s few days I figure it's better

The simplest solution to your problem is growing vertically.
