8 day old seedling tilted BY ITSELF. Why?

2 hours ago the stem was straighter than a laser beam. I just saw it again 5 mins ago and it was tilted. There's nobody else in the house nor any pets nor something fell on it. What I did 2 hours before was 2 things:
1) I increased the light wattage using the dimmer
2) I put some water drops on my Smart co2 bag to "activate" the co2.

My theory is that the plant was moving away from the light because it was too much. I'm a dumbass and had it 12inches away from the light, despite her young age. The light is a 240w KingBrite but it was dimmed to 50% power. Do you think I'm correct or it had to do with the water drops in the co2 bag? It was the first time I put water in the bag. Looking forward to your knowledge. Thank you and God Bless.

It’s stretching from not enough light. Turn it all the way up and then adjust your height.

Also it looks like your pot isn’t full.

if that’s the case add a little medium to the pot to cover up some of that long stem and it will stop leaning.

I don't think you have any to worry about leaves are pointed to the light as always thank you for your time and the best of luck

Thanks for all the replies guys but she's only 4-5cm long. How is she leggy? I noticed that the leaves get larger but her height stays the same. That's the goal, right?

It shouldn’t be sticking out the ground that far. That’s a sign it needs more light. It’s leaning over because it’s top heavy with those big leaves.

My light is 240w true watts. It was dimmed at 50%, so let's say it was 120watts. 120watts at 12inches height is more than good for a seedling, right?

It’s clearly not

turn light to 100% and adjust from there. Leave it a little higher then recommended and the plant can grow into its sweet spot.

Alright, it's 8 days old and I have a 240w KingBrite. I'll turn it on full power but what distance you recommend? The supplier says 20-32 inches.

I don’t have LEDs but I would keep it a little higher then recommended for now.
