that sounds like a crazy way to harvest, dont all the crystals wash off- even if the potency is as high, does it look as good...

some may wash off but not all....it gets darker in appearance, but u achieve a smoother smoke, less cure time, lose smell and taste..... this just allows u to smoke it quicker rather than air dry and jar curing.... hes only doing 1 of 4 of his cola's this way.....

lol guys look it up in the GROW FAQ's. I didnt invent this technique i am trying it out because it is used by alot of growers with great results. Or look in the section harvesting and curing and you will find a whole mess of threads about water curing. It actually INCREASES potency because you lose around an extra 10% of the buds weight from the water cure but it retains 100% potency. Less nug with same amount of THC retained= more potent. Because you lose a little extra weight with the water cure as opposed to the jar cure, it may not be smart for commercial growers but for the individual grower its the fastest way to smoke your plant smooth as ever 
Im doing it with about 15-20% of my harvest, that way i can smoke that while the rest of the plant jar cures... what a great idea!! I wish i invented it! cheers!!

I did look it up read the whole thing actually...
Still have some questions,
the guy who posted it, well his plants dont look that good before or going into the water for 7 days, dont know about him... I would rather hear how it worked for you,
you should snap pics of your colas before and after, it just seems like while it may have the same potency its gonna be like smoking seaweed- washed out and not all shinny and crystally... pics would be nice...

although i have no way to back this up i think im gonna have to say that CBN or CBD or whatever its called it also not water soluable because there is a consenses that this technique increases potency... If it took 1/2 the effect out of the nug then somebody would have said something by now. Plus it rains on plants grown outdoors so wouldnt the CBN/CBD just wash off the plant if it was water soluable? But ya those are the pics of my smallest cola before water cure.. ill take some after too... no clue how it will turn out this is my first time trying this meathod. But ive heard good things. Harvest friday

Well let us know, I am really really curious about this method, I just honestly dont believe it, the point about the rain makes sense, but it just seems so wrong to dunk my babys under water lol- if you achieve comparable or better results from your dry harvest, I may try it myself... If only to watch the process with my own eyes...

You could always just do it to a couple popcorn nugs just to test out this meathod of curing. Then its not such a big decision

nice grow man. let me know how you like your molases schedule comes out. cuz im doin molases as well. ive been using it water and flower nuts alternating. i was thinkin im about 3 weeks from harvest, it may be a little longer so i will start flushing somwhere around a week or 2 from now.

what happened to flowering times of 60 days and such, thats why im scared to grow sativa dominant strains. i dont want a three month flower period.

Ill tell you what happened, it past 4 weeks ago. And now its harvest time in a couple days.. cant wait to try out the longer flowerig/ sativa high effect!

Use a food dehydrator if you want to dry some of the bud fast to smoke. I works very well and you do not loose any trics.lol guys look it up in the GROW FAQ's.
