84 Percent Humidity

I’m 84 percent humidity right now in the seedling stage currently. & 82 degrees. All in the grow tent. Should I lower the humidity down?

I don't think it's a big deal in seedling and veg.
I wouldn't want it that high in mid to late flower

I'll throw ya a bone, head answer. At 84% humidity is not to high for a seedling. That same percentage would be detrimental during flower phase. Lower the humidity to abouts 60-70% as she fills out during her Vegetative state. You really do not want more than 50-60% humidity when ya roll into flowering phase.

It’s currently been bouncing back between 45-80 percent humidity every time I turn humidifier on and off. Is this normal

I can tell you with certainty, that cannabis plants Do Not like that much of a swing/change of that much. On an every day basis. It stresses them out.. There are many easily accessible websites about starting young cannabis plants out. This site is a wealth of knowledge.. My advice is research as much as possible. And apply to your own grow. I like to help, I do have some knowledge Ask a couple questions, just here and there. And it all gravy after that!

try putting it somewhere out of the light, lights can throw off readings

are you able to put the humidifier outside of the tent to allow a more constant humidity? Ventilating a tent into a room and then controlling a larger room is much more stable in my opinion

One more question and yea I’ll try doing that but. My tent is starting to get wet from humidifer and stuff, so do I have to worry about any wires or outlets short circuiting and catching on fire?

always be aware of electrical hazards. You need to make sure to use properly grounded equipment and all that jazz . I always mount my power high so if there was for some reason water the electrical would be on the top of the setup
if things were properly done for your electrical situation then you shouldn't need to worry too much. I would use weather rated connections in the grow room

Mine is up above and outside my tent for this reason. Sound safety advice here. If your electrical is on the ground right now I would raise it OP, you are watering plants in there and one spill could cause some big trouble.
