I have an unknown strain and it's flowering well, but none of the pistols have actually changed color. I'm looking at the trichs wich a loupe and no amber yet, so I'm still letting it go, but just wondering if anyone has heard of a strain that always stays white.

Well this is my first grow so I'm not 100% sure, but they don't look that small. I switched to an HPS about 3 weeks ago from them being under flouros previously. I have attached a pic taken a week ago from one of the stems. I did LST on the plant and have 4 main colas.

thats sativa and it will turn amber at week 11 or 12 mate they take longer to flower extra 3 to 4 weeks after week 8
Thanks

Is it the leaves that give it away? I have 4 clones from this same plant vegging under T5's and the leaves are quite fat this time around which made me think it was an Indica, but maybe they just like those T5's for vegging :-).

Also, I just did a flush last week as I'm pretty sure my plant had a nutrient lock up as the leaves started yellowing fast, but since the flush the problem has ceased.

Should I continue to water without nutes since or since I have a few more weeks would some nutes do it good? Right now I'm just giving it water with some mollasses.

White pistils mean your plants in good health. You should let them grow as long as possible to get the best potency and most growth, if your in a hurry you can harvest as long as you can visibly see the trichromes on the buds.

The hairs will turn and beautiful orangeish red rather than that burnt brown/orange color if you cut them early. They'll look better but not be at their peak potency.

Don't stress, keep pluggin away :)

Yeah, I'm trying to be patient, but dang is it hard for my first grow, especially when I have 4 new ladies just about ready to go into my new scrog setup. I can't wait for that.

Thanks everyone for your input

So should I give it some more nutes, or stick with the water and molasses.

My flower nutes are FF Tiger and Big Bloom
well if u have say 2 or 3 weeks left keep feeding them bloom until ders 10 days of flowering left then start flushin them that day on give them just fresh clean water then flush again for the last 3 days then leave them in darkness for the last 24 hours to gain more resin then chop chop good look mate put a update up :eyesmoke:
