Here are some more pictures of the plants. The bottle is a one liter Aquafina. They're starting to flower pretty well and even the small one is doing okay....

It was wierd....I just assume it was ants...I don't really know. The seedlings came up and within a day something had cut off the top of six of them. I mean literally just came through and clipped the the top off leaving the chewed up top on the ground and a bare stem sticking up. It didn't look like rabbits, the cut on the stems was almost surgical. So I just assumed it was ants....either way I got the survivors the hell out...but I hope I get at least one male, I really don't want to have to order more seeds and I really wanted to keep a pure LR#1 line going for breeding purposes.

The exact same thing happened to my Lowriders as well last year, it was my first grow too so I was really upset as I lost the lot!

More pics....the plants and buds are starting to put on some weight. I pollinated a some buds on the big one 2 days before the pics were taken

This is great I just recieved five low rider seedsin the mail today. I amtwo germinating allready. What do you think about the two plants in the same pot. Wont one choke out the other.

I use pennington's tomato food. But not much...just a little once a week. I don't like putting two in the same pot but some people do...I start them out two or three in a pot then put them in their own

Hi i'm on my first grom and i'm growing a lowryder#1 and it is 26 days old from seed. I am sure that it is showing it's sex but as i have no experience i havn't a clue what it is. It has small white hairs on the leaves and branches. Do males also have these hairs as i heard that it is only females, my camera is broken so I won't be able to post pictures. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

they are looking nice, how much longer do they have? When they are done... count up the seeds because im intrigued on how many you will get. I wanna do a field of those lil bitchezzz

Do males also have these hairs as i heard that it is only females

Females have 2 white hairs coming out where stems meet each other.

Males will have little balls (testicles) instead of hairs. Males will usually show before the females do. If you arent sure if they are balls or hairs, give it a little while longer and they will be more evident.

Thankyou very much that helped a lot and i am going to wait another 2 days before i can make up my mind but i am quite sure that i can see 2 small hairs. Thanks

You wont have any problem telling them apart. Just give'em a day or two and look close. These plants should be done around the 4th to the 10th of July. I'll let the one I pollinated stay out a few days longerto tlet the seeds get nice a mature before I cut it. Here are a couple more pics...

I have no more pics of these two plants, I haven't bought a new camera yet but the grow is finished....I got a pill bottle full of seeds off of these two and about 1.5 oz of dried smoke. The third plant was insanely small and I managed to roll a single joint off the entire plant. This does not include the weight of the seeds and the main stems. I used tweezers to get the seeds as I was trimming the bud and cut the indiviual buds off the main stem. The two ended up finishing at 58 days from seed. I've replanted some of the seeds I got and will be posting a full grow journal on those as the plants will be grown strictly for smoke and will be kept seedless and there will be many more than just two :)This is my first experience with an autoflowering strain and all I can say is WOW. These are by far the easiest, fastest, most low maintenance plants I have ever had the pleasure of growing. Lowryder more than lived up to it's hype and I'll definately be growing many, many more in the near future. I had friends walk right past them in the garden and never noticed them. These are a great stealth plant...not the most potent, although I've only smoked the heavily seeded bud of the two breeder females so far. It's a nice, uplifting high...a really great wake and bake and the effect seemed to really stick with you when smoked just after waking up. Anyway, the next LR grow should be up and posted in a few weeks and I promise more pictures this time.
