A few question about nutrients.

First time grower, I did a search on nutrients but only 3 threads came up, non of which really helped me.

Iam looking to pick up some nutrients from my local hydroponic store, should I just ask them to put together a recipe for me?

what are some must have nutrients I should get? Should I just go and look for a recipe online, write it down and go down to the hydro store, give them the list and have them put it together for me?

I dont want to look like a fool when Iam at the hydroponic store, and I dont want them to rip me off by selling me stuff I dont need.

Google GH Flora, go with that. One of the best and easy to use. There will be two products that you will use in tandem.

What kind of nutrients are helpful for PH balance.

Iam a newbie and I dotn want to be using nutrients that will affect PH a lot.

Is there a specfic nutrient product that is very easy on PH? I know PH changes, but I dont want the PH to change a lot.

First off, using General Hydroponics 3 part formula (Micro, Grow, Bloom) seems to be the easiest to work with.
Second, General Hydroponics makes both pH up and pH down solutions that you can use to adjust the pH of your res. Keep in mind that you want to refrain from over using the pH up and down excessively.

Well maybe they make PH up and PH down because GH nutrients affect your PH a lot.

Is it true that some nutrients have whats called a PH buffer?

I have read that PH buffers will help keep PH level. So if a nutrient has a built in PH buffer, then what ever the PH the water was set at thats the PH after mixing it with the nutrients?
