A few questions before i start my grow

First i would like to share some info i have gathered about this grow. i will be growing with 6 2700k cfl and then flowering with 6 6500k cfl.i will start germination in the paper towel method then i will place seeds in 3-16 oz plastic cups and place the lights on 19/6 light cycle and allow them to grow for a max of 25 days at that time i will transplant them in 3- 3" to 5" pots and change the light cycle 12/12 and allow to flower for max of 25 days.my questions are about best soils to use that i can get from walmart? types of nutes if any to give them also when? lsting how and when is the best time to? also topping? any help would be appreciated

Seems like this could be a joke, if you flower for 25 days you won't have a crop and the light specs you said are backwards 6500k for veg 2700k for flower

I have been in flower for about 3 weeks and here's my micro fem
If that's what you want to smoke go ahead and harvest after that short of time but I would not recommend it. Topping and lst all depends on how big you want your plant. If you top you need to give her a week or 4 to 5 days minimum to recover and you should give it more time than that. You should top above the third node if you're going to do that. Lst you can do practically any time after leaves start to form. Just really gently tie the top part down or put weights on it to hold it down (I wetted some peat pods and used them for a while until I got wise and got some fishing line) switch your lights 6500k veg and the other flower. How much space are you working with? That should determine when you top or how much you lst

Thank you mikek420 for being the only one with helpful answers. so will change the lights around to 2700k for flowering and 6500k for veg ... how about the light cycle 19/5 sorry for typo before with the 19/6.? 2ft x 2ft x 1 1/2ft

Just a public service announcement...something I wish I knew before my first grow...trimming is gonna suck

CFL's don't worry about the the color with that small of a grow... It might make a 1% difference in your yield....
Just put all your CFL's you have in your grow... Get lamp socket splitters and throw as many as possible in your grow...

I use varied 2700K and 6500K use them all for veg and Bud... More more add more use what you have....

Walmart soil... Hyponix use it, I have but add a 33% perilite/or vermiculite [I use both] mix so soil will be lighter....
Try to not get the added "Water" or "Moist Control"... don't use those, or if you do, add more perilite/vermiculite....
I, in a pinch... use multi brands of cheapo soils... just add Perilite/vermiculite.... you'll be fine...
Also, Nutes/Ferts in soil try and avoid, however, sometimes that's all you can get...
I mix many different cheap soils and add "Bone" meal..."Blood" meal... and some "Garden Tone" By Espoma sold at Wally world...
Mix in these organic additives and use minimal nutes in Veg....

I've done most of my grows with supplies from Walmart. With that small of a space make sure you have a fan or something to move air around the cfls will increase temperature. You need somewhere between 75 and 80 more or less, but when you find your temperature range keep it there and don't let it drop too much or get too hot to quick. Walmart has perlite, vermiculite, stuff like that. A bag of each works perfectly and you can get a small bag of potting soil. Mix all together in a large tub and use that soil. What size were your final pots? I think I read 5 inch? Maybe get a 1 gallon and lst the plant, or top early and tie down. It depends on how long you want to veg. I have one that has been vegging for about 1.5 months. It's in 1 gal pot. My phone is taller than the plant because after i topped her I tied the branches down (gently) to where they were lower than the top of the plant. Multiple toppings later and it's about 1 square foot but only 6 inches tall. Be sure to take pics or keep a good journal so we can help if you need it. Don't put nutrients on it for a few weeks because you'll kill it, or hurt it bad. 18/6 is good. Get a decent timer. I found one at Walmart for 5 dollars. Haven't seen it in store since I got it tho

What are you planning on running? Also be careful of smell my mom caught me (i live by myself but she was visiting) and my plants were barely starting t bud

Neighbors or anything? You own land? If you got space and privacy a couple ladies od would be nice in october. Either way youre off to a good start by educating yourself a little on what to expect and how to deal with it
