First off What exactly is suppercropping?

Is it diffrent techniques of training i.e. FIMing,LST,Topping,SCROG

From what I've read and seen on you tube its bending branches between nodes I'm kind of confused as to what exactly it is. And when to do it during Veg or Early flower or both once flowering starts and new branches grow.

Which techniques will produce the biggest yields IYO (In Your Opinion)?

I have two 1'+ plants I'm going to start LST today and I want to know what else I should do to increase yields.

Should I FIM or Top my two plants?

I'm all about getting as much bud as possible keeping that in mind whats the best option.

Also should I prune the fan leaves to increase yields if so whats the best method.

what your using for lighting and what size area the grow space is would play a factor for sure

often times plants yield beautifully grown all natural ,don't get ahead of yourself ..focus on the grow first ,then advanced techniques after you get a couple grows under your belt

Saw pictures of your plants in that other post and it's time to supercrop. Depending on how my plants are growing, I usually supercrop 1/3rd, top 1/3 and FIM the other 1/3....what I like about supercropping is that wen you do it, the lower growth shoots up to the level of your main branch while your main branch heals and develops a knuckle....what's nice about it, is you get your lower growth that shoots up and you don't loose your main stem like you do with topping....You can supercrop the shit out of a plant and end up with a short bush with a ton of colas....What you want to do is pinch your plant about 2/3rd up and squeeze the main stem between your thumb and index finger....then when your fingers are touching each other with the stem in between, slowly bend it over your thumb in a direction opposite of where you want the light to penetrate....it'll look like you broke it but you didn't....give it about 3-4 days and that main stem will develope a knuckle where you bent it and will go up towards the light.....by that time, your lower growth would come up equal to the tip of you main branch...you can keep this up as much as you want....I usually don't touch my plants once I start flowering, but by then, I really don't need to...

You're doing a couple of things when you super crop....because you bend the stem, you're redirecting hormones to lower growth...by the time that branch heals, the hormones start to get distributed evenly (for the most part)....you're also opening up the plant for light to penetrate much deeper...

Like I said, you can make a plant into a bush if you want to....But no matter what you do, stop training/manipulating the plants at least 5-7 days before you start flowering...you don't want to disrupt the flow of hormones, then all of sudden force them to flower....you'll make the plant go crazy

So I was thinking of doing everything you said, but not spiting it up in thirds, rather doing it all, to all of the plants in 3 stages, until I read this

http://www.gardenscure.com/420/training-scrog-sog-supercropping-etc/63090-low-stress-training-lst-more-walk.html

It basically says there is NO REASON for topping/fiming the plants because your actually cutting off your top cola. So now I'm undecided about fiming.

I've started LST SDC11673.jpgSDC11659.jpgSDC11660.jpgSDC11661.jpgSDC11662.jpgSDC11663.jpgSDC11667.jpgSDC11665.jpgSDC11668.jpgSDC11664.jpgSDC11672.jpg

and I have a another pretty important question.

Do I have to tie my mainstem completely down towards the root to distribute auxins threw out the plant? Or can I just keep it the way it is?

So my method is to LST then Supercrop then FIM

My reasoning for doing it this way is highest stress last, obviously the longer the plant grows the stronger it is so it can cope with being cut/FIMed or Topped better later on in the grow.

Let me know what you think of doing all three to the plants in stages, and if I should even do it in stages or all at the same time.

If you top or FIM, you really want to do it as close to the top of the soil as you can....The way that post says to flush is a pain in the ass....get a flushing agent and just water with that....AN has a good one, it's called Final Phase...Do that once a month of so and you'll be fine....Can you imagine how much of a pain in the ass it would be to fill up a tub and soak them? You gotta experiment with different stuff and find what works for you...

Like Oregon said, don't get ahead of yourself...stick to the basics, then experiment with more advanced techniques once you know your plants...
