Harvest day!
Huge shout out to the members of this group. After successfully producing feminisd pollen and pollinating a couple plants, I now have a huge supply of feminised Blue Dream seeds.
I also have 16 seeds that I crossed the Blue Dream with a White Widow (was a very small plant).
Now in the starting process of making Granddaddy Kush and White Widow x Big Bud feminisd seeds.

Woo! Look at all those beautiful seeds! Great work, man! Glad the thread helped out. :)

Gearing up for the 2nd round of feminised seeds. White Widow x Big bud.
I've been growing this strain through clones for the last year, but I flowered out the mother.
Keeping 3 clones! 1 as back-up.....
Anyway, fresh CS pics. NO ppm reading is being done. I have a meter, but as previously discussed a laser pointer is more accurate.
This is the 1st time I used this generator, although I made it previously.
It is a cell phone charger that delivers 7.8V DC.
Cooked for exactly 6 hours, cleaning silver every hour and filtered through 2 unbleached coffee filters.
FEEL FREE TO USE PICS.

After 6 hours, just a slight amber color, can hardly notice but.....

Shine the pointer and bam! Best batch yet!

Round 2 White Widow x Big bud
This plant has been getting sprayed with colliodal silver for 5 days while still in veg, now it's going into the flower room.
Absolutely NO stress!

Quick update. Pollen sacs are forming. I'll post pics when it's ready.
On another note. The Blue Dream seeds I just made are viable. Only germinated 15, but 100% germination! Again, pics to follow.

using homemade colloidal silver on an amnesia haze auto that I broke the main stem 4inchs off the ground, I was able to collect feminsed pollen.
ONE BIG MISTAKE I made was believing that you could cut off the pollen flowers and put them in a vase. Don't do it, I collected nothing from them.
Fortunately, I left some on the plant and collected lots of pollen.

Pollen collection, cut a slot out of thick plastic sheet (milk carton thick) and placed below each flower and gently shook it. Then I used a credit card to scrape it all together and put it into a plastic vial/test tube. Stored in freezer.

Turned off all the air extract and fans and used a fine paintbrush to fertilize some flowers and labeled those branches. Pretty handy at harvest time...weeks later.

Below is an afghan regular male. I put a plastic lid with a slot cut into it below the plant (about 2 o'clock in the photo) and shook the plant every day, removed the plastic lid and used a credit card to scrape up the pollen. I probably got about a 1mm deep in a vial that is 6mm in diameter. Not much in volume terms but shitloads of actual pollen.

Got a question.
Due to an avoidable mistake, I lost half of my pollen that was for 2 plants. I think I lost the best of it., would have been a good harvest.
How much pollen would you say for a full 14" plant?
Last time I just kept pollinating for a few days. Only enough this time for one shot.
All that time wasted has me pissed off, but won't make the same mistake again.

What really sucks is if I don't get any seeds, I loose the strain :(
At least i made a cross with the white widow/Big bud x blue dream.

Honestly, you probably still have more than enough. The issue is likely just spreading it out for use.

You may be able to "cut" it with dry flour, and use it that way. I've never tried it, myself, but I have heard of others doing it, and don't see how it would be harmful, especially if you are able to rinse off the plant, after a few days.

You must have cut them off too early. Once they are ready you can cut them off and they will produce viable pollen. I've been doing it for years.

Thanks xtsho, being a noob, I probably did cut them off too early. Fortunately, there were a few left on the plant and I managed to get loads of pollen (relatively) speaking.
Cheers
