Cool I wasn't in error.. I would be comfortable with the card and not comfortable without if I exchange on California soil.

Now if I can come to Alaska and hang with you... LOL

Free rent, food and beer?

i wonder if a mod is messing with you, or they actually thought your name was a typo. it doesn't show who edited what, so i may never know. kinda funny though. :)

Budlover, that's a pretty cool article.

The personal use clause also includes horticulture with a 24 or 25 plant limit.

The current situation here is just lenient enough to keep folks from demanding more. MJ is available in almost every community that I visit. The widespread use of CFL's for growing in the more rural communities really shifted the dynamic of MJ availability.

Personally, I can now produce enough to keep me happy. I'm not stoked over the 1/4 lb limit but it's better to have a qp than an oz.

My wife and i have always wanted to visit Alaska. i'd move there if she would, but alas, family. We plan to drive when we make the trip if possible. Do Alaska's possession laws recognizew out-of-staters too or just residents?

i love cfl's! They are so easy and fun to mess with! Low heat, flexible, cheap, and available as well as the fact that if you lose one bulb it doesn't ruin your harvest.

I'm not sure about the out-of-state possession laws. I have spoken to Alaska State Troopers many time after and while consuming marijuana. They have more important things to deal with than a little bit of grass. Law enforcement up here isn't like most of the lower 48. Outside of Anchorage and Fairbanks, law enforcement presence is very limited. We tent to police ourselves. Alcohol is more strictly regulated and enforced up here than mj.

It's pretty cool up here. Come on up and have a look around. If you enjoy mountains, rivers, the ocean, and fish, summer is your season. If you like skiing out of helicopters, snow machines, and snowcats, winter is your season. We try to keep a libertarian approach to laws.

You can fuck a goat, just don't fuck my goat. :)

LOL!!! Got me with that one!

I PERSONALLY prefer the summer months. Thinking back-packing, fishing, camping, etc.

i'm an ex-cop and watched Alaska State Troopers ;) so i can see how the self-policing thing is your best bet up there. When the nearest trooper is hours or days out you kinda have to. i wish the whole damn country would follow your example! i assume one can own firearms and cannabis together too? Kinda NEED a gun in a lot of Alaska.

I don't know anyone that doesn't own firearms (in Alaska). The tie dyed hippie that lives in a van probably has a larger arsenal than most of the militant guys in Idaho.

We eat what we kill. We also are not the top of the food chain. Folks get eaten around here if they don't keep a clean camp or stumble into the wrong alder patch.

The oil guys and the environmentalists get along up here. When you end up in a ditch @-10, you want to make sure that the only guy who can pull you out doesn't hate your guts.

As for grass, only the dickheads have a problem finding grass or dealing with LEO's. Golden rule applies.

That's why I retired here and why I'm raising my children here. You definately get what you give.

My house is about 5 minutes from an airstrip and about 7 minutes from a chairlift. It's constructed on rock and gravel with a healthy covering of topsoil from the Matanuska valley. It's 65 degrees outside right now and I'm rocking shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. There are several kids playing in our backyard while I'm putting finishing touches on a contract for some Bristol Bay sockeye.

My friends up north are dealing with breakup (rivers flooding, ice dams breaking and rebuilding, etc...) Springtime in Alaska is a beautiful time.

There were 3 moose in the yard this morning when I woke up. The warm weather and scarce protein has the black bear and brown bear getting a bit feisty. That forces a fair share of the moose into populated areas. I found a half eaten black bear yesterday. The brownie tracks beside him were the size of a basketball. Hungry bear eat smaller bear. :)

Contracts are boring. I think I'll fly down to Seward and scope out some Grey whales, Humpbacks, and orcas.

Cheers.

What do you grow up there? I have read about Alaska thunder fuck.. Is that still a valid strain?

Rumors still hold about a strain of TF out in Talkeetna. I've had people hand me what they call Thunderfuck but I don't believe it. More than likely, someone needed some money so they liquidated a bit of their personal stash.

I grow indoor, though I'm relatively new to growing. I popped a bunch of auto's outside at a spot where I have lunch when flying around Prince William Sound. It's remote enough. If they do anything then I'll make hash or Green Dragon.

I'm always looking for a new strain to grow inside. :)

Found 2 pods of Orcas and a few humpback stragglers. Viz wasn't as stellar down south and the winds were kicking pretty strong.

I definately do not work for the state ;)
