hey riu, i have some issues im trying to work through
maybe i can get some suggestions?

im building some flower lights and some veg lights
1st up is my flower system
its based on samsung lm562a 2' strips
they are 450ma @ 24.7 Vf
and im attempting to fire up a rig i built yesterday

running these parallel , hooked up the hlg150h 24b to ten strips and - nothing
mightve burnt em up idk
i then hooked up another set of these (i bought 40+, they were super cheap) around 14 in series , still no love
how do i get these guys to fire on this driver?
do i have the wrong driver for this application?

It's a constant voltage driver you need to wire in parallel. But it's not possible to run the double row strips together with the 1footers on this specific driver. You need an HLG-185H-C700(200w) or an HLG-120H-C700(150w).

But you'll get uneven brightness when you run all the strips with the same current. One could balance the circuit with series/parallel wiring for an 48V circuit but this is even more complicated.

One tip! Use only strips with the same voltage and power requirements, which makes it much easier. And the link to the LEDgardeners website is worth gold.!

um - hey the big strips run on a seperate driver - those arent on this mini strip circuit
so
its 10 strips - 5 x 3500k + 5x 4000k
im trying to get these to run on this driver, but not understanding why they arent firing on a sinple 150w cv driver, should i use another 5 strips in this design for that one driver?

iread ledgardeners post earlier this morning - its dope
but i need to figure out how to get these 450ma 24.7v 24up strips to run on these 150 w drivers today

Where did you get the figure 450ma?
What is the part number of your strips?
24up strips?
Do you have a volt meter?

Normally/often the opposing terminals are interconnected on a terminal strip. I bet you have a short circuit by having positive on one side and neg. on the other.

welp, im an idiot cause,its the terminal strip i was using
it was not a double side, it was a pass through so it was hard shorting my shit right on out....
