Don't worry about the ProMix, works great with the Mandala strains i have grown out.-----Hashberry, Satori, Point of no Return

On the other hand, I decided to stop using the paper towel germ method after i read Mandala's Germination guide...saves me time and stress and i am never going back to paper towels again...(it works well, but it is just not necessary)

Good Luck.

Im subscribing to this thread. Somewhere out there, theres a pack of #1, Satori, and hashberry on its way to me. I too am on the 46th parallel and Im interested in these strains for their mold and mildew resistance! hopefully they'll finish up here in time.

Yeah me too, I grew a Man #1 last year and I did get some mold unfortunately, but the damage was minimal. This year I might build a little roof for the rains of October...

I got some Mandala #1, Satori, and Hashberry seeds from the attitude the other day. Holy shit those beans are big compared to all the other breeders I have ordered from before.

Alrighty folks, here are some pics of the family:

Kalichakra, sex unknown (in the earth), in the middle of the pic (next to the big Satori on the right):

Beyond the Brain, sex unknown, in the middle of the pic, growing from the pot you see on the middle-right:

Hashberry, FEMALE!, in a pot:

And the almighty Ganesh, FEMALE!!!, in a pot:

Apart from the Kalichakra, all are lst'd. If not, I'd have 8 feet tall Ganeshs, Satoris and Beyond the Brains. It would be too tempting for the neighbors ;)

That ganesh looks a little stretchy for my taste =/

The plants all look nice though, good work.

How is your compost doing? How are the plants that got planted in the earth in comparison to the potted plants?

I noticed my compost clumped up too heavy so I amended it with coco coir and rice hulls. I also bought 5 lb of green sand to work with =]

Nice plants. Very interested to see how they all finish up for you, I'm already thinking about next year and Mandala is one I want to try along with Sannie.

Nice looking plants, I have three Mandala #1s that are around 6 ft tall and bushed out nicely, just starting to flower, hope they make it. If they produce, I think I may have found my outdoor go to plant.

I have the Mandala Fruitylicious on my short list for next year's outdoor grow. I'll be watching the Hashberry and the Kalichakra sounds good too.

Another Clink thread subbed.

I didn't use any compost after all :)

My potted plants are doing way better than my Kalichakra (the only one in soil), but only because I started it in a pot and it suffered a bit when I transplanted it.

My pots all have huge holes in them and are all sitting in my vegetable garden so the roots will have plenty of food. I'm not gonna fertilize at all.

As for my Ganesh, she is definitely growing taller than I expected but man, I wouldn't be surprised if she yielded a pound!

All three are female, 6 feet tall and bushy? Dude, you're in for a treat! I grew a Man#1 last year that almost died from my own fault and yet she still produced a lot of the best weed I ever had ;)
