i am still trying to figure it out myself. anyone have any ideas? the temps here havent been that hot. maybe the roots are getting cooked? how can i prevent this
yea i think it cud also be the sun cus i live around there and the top leaves on my plant were doin that till i moved it to were there are some tall trees on 1 side of it and open sunlight on the other.kinda evend it out a bit but anyways good luck hope you can save them
...ah, alright so its not the heat...its the nitrgen and frequency of waterings. if they are starting to flower, what will a boost of nitrogen do?it's been 100+ degrees here all summer. i have no issues. View attachment 157686
as long as your leaves are pale it needs nitrogen. i feed nitrogen throughout the full flowering cycle. along with bloom of course....ah, alright so its not the heat...its the nitrgen and frequency of waterings. if they are starting to flower, what will a boost of nitrogen do?
interesting. i think that in the growfaq someone should add this info. i have been reading info religiously from this site for about 8 months, and other sites around the internet and not once was i informed about that. people make it so once the plant is flowering, no more nitrogen and only bloom nutes (P and K)as long as your leaves are pale it needs nitrogen. i feed nitrogen throughout the full flowering cycle. along with bloom of course.
people stop feeding their plants nitrogen and then all there fan leaves turn yellow and they say this is normal. really? so in their natural environment the nitrogen just runs out? i can see it depleting in the natural soil somewhat but in some nitrogen rich areas they get it all season. the job of the large sun leaves it to collect light to convert into sugars to allow for new growth. EVERY leaf on the plant has a job to do. once they start dieing off the other parts have to make up for it. those big leaves are feeding the branches that all the buds are on. green = healthy.interesting. i think that in the growfaq someone should add this info. i have been reading info religiously from this site for about 8 months, and other sites around the internet and not once was i informed about that. people make it so once the plant is flowering, no more nitrogen and only bloom nutes (P and K)
