update time -

compost is ready for worm bin

Typical compost 2yrs old-garden waste ,leaves from veges etc.
sifted ,then chucked in worm bin to fortify with dry amendments. I try different ones (amendments) and use as top dress.
Coconut powder water is great for calmag , so I use every watering. I also use thee ol nematodes and predator mites but good watering is key .

3x3 15gal , on its 2nd run so still not active enough but getting there.

Big ups for those links.

And to anyone interested in Living Soil & Organics ... those are worth a watch. Proper science that ties all the forum posts and speculation into a clear understanding.

And a note especially to people like me who normally get frustrated with the pace and pedantics of YouTube 'teaching' stuff ... people like me who who give up and move on:

"Be a little patient and press on or skip past the 1st 10 minutes of 'the usual ego stroking and back slapping'.

Once he starts putting up the slides and graphs, and getting into the real meat of the discussion, there are some excellent bits of knowledge and experience."
