Alright guys. The stress from the transplant is gone now. All plants have really stiffened up. It is time to put my tower fan in the room to blow lightly on the plants.
Some of these plants almost look like they have split in two, two main stems forming from what it looks like. These guys are really staying short but spreading out nice. I imagine one they reach the resevoir they will start to get some good vertical height going.
I got 2 5 Gallon jugs of water, I imagine I will go through no more than 1 per week.
I am going to start my alternating feed/water schedule this week.
No pictures last night, got busy. I really love the Hempy's, you do nothing other than water and admire....
No smell yet, when I sniff the plants all I smell is freshly pulled weeds smell..... I am anticipating a reather skunky odor once it flowers, but I am hoping the Northern Lights portion of the genetics will keep it fairly minimal.
Cheers guys I'll update as usual!

Just to add, I have decided to water cure. I know it is a LONG time away, but I want to keep everything as steal as possible. Family coming over in the spring, so I can't really have plants hanging in my closet, or jars curing there either. I'll try it out. Cheers.

OK, well things are progressing nicely. I think this strain has a weird way of growing. The description states it grows like a bright green christmas tree. That is pretty much right on. At first I thought somethng might be wrong, but these pl;ants are healthy, they just grow weird. The leaves tend to grow downward a little bit. The plant is good and sturdy, just the leaves really look funny, but very healthy. The smell is beautiful when I smell up close.
I will for sure get some photo's going tonight and post. I have 2 more weeks of vegging I think. TYhe one plant hit the resevoir yesterday, and overnight grea an inch. I imagine the others will reach the res today and shoot up pretty quick. I have been able to keep all 8 going, the 2 little ones in cups are still going strong, but noticeable stunted. I am going to get some small buckets today, maybe half a gallon, that's all I can fit in the room. If they make it great, I am hoping they will get to the point to sexing. If I get a lady in them, I can always put them in a bigger bucket and get rid of any males.
Nutes are at 1/2 strength as of right now, I am going to up them next feed to half the veg strength. I was at half the seedling strength. I also started using the grocery store water, RO, but the ph is 8, I couldn't believe it. I had a hell of a time adjusting it too. But since my last watering was at 5.5, this one was at 7. The plants seemed o really enjoy the new water compared to the tap water.
I also got my conversion bulb yesterday and put it in last night. That may be the reason the plants have brightened up so much. The light is a nice white/blue, very bright. And since it is running on an HPS ballast, it runs brighter with more lumens than a typical 400W MH light. I am impressed, truely.
I have reconsidered my thoughts of water curing. The more I smell these little plants, the more I can't imagine destroying that smell, it is gorgeous. I will do an OZ in the water, give myself some nice stealth buds for the campground and parties and such, as well as give me some products pretty much immediately.
Well, that's all for now, cheers, and I'll get some photo's up soon. Mannurse, out.

OK guys, here are my plants so far. I was messing up a bit..
1. ph was off, calibrated my tester with lemon juice, and I was off by about a full scale.
2. I was watering directly on the leaves, not thinking anything about it. I was foliar feting my plants, as a result, a little burn happened. Nothing major at all.
I waters today with just ro water, ph'ed to 6.8. They are flushed now, so I am in good shape I think. I will feed with my next water to see how things go.
That's it for now, cheers..

Hey guys, everything going ok.... It seems me taking it light on my ferts has given a couple of my plants an N deficiency. I will be feeding tonight, 3/4 strength according to the Fox Farm Schedule.
Other than that, the plants are gaining height, and width daily. There are an obvious 4 strong plants 2 ok plants, and the 2 in small cups are stugling. I have some 1 G containers I am going to transplant into tonight as well....
Once my ladies (I hope) hit 8-10 inches, I am going to flip the switch 12/12.
The conversion bulb is working great. I honestly see no reason on using a sperate MH sytem if your veg and flower are in the same place like mine.....
Anyway, that's it for now, feel free to leave some suggestions or comments, Cheers.

Glad to hear everything is going good. I got about another week of veg and then its flower time.:bigjoint:

Just a quick update. The ladies loved the food. Here are some new pics, just showing they are growing well...

Looking very nice. I see no trace of the N deficiency you mentioned the other day.:leaf::leaf::leaf:
Thanks, a few of the bottom leaves are a bit yellow. Nothing too major, but it is noticeable up close. Some light brown spots on them too. I will give them a heavy watering tonight.
I will have 6 plants now, I gave up on the small ones in the cups.....
If I get 4 plants females, how big should I let them get before flower? I only have a 400HPS, so I want to maximize there production, but don't want to let them get so big that the wattage is insufficient... I am thinking I should flower at 12 inches.....
When the largest plant reaches 12 inches, the other should be around 10 or so. I think that will make for some nice 2-3 foot flowering plant, and yeild me at least an O per plant? Think that is fair?

Yup, I think your math is good. If you added some sidelighting, you could let them go further. With the 400 I would suggest you top several times and then lollipop the resulting branches. Trying to develop decent buds at the base of the plant is counter-productive. By restricting bud development near the base of the plant you will promote the development of massive top colas. Here's a grow where this has been taken to an extreme, but his yields speak for themselves. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/107586-mrhowardmarks-experienced-grower-journal-137.html#post2065439. You will veg longer to achieve the multiple tops but it's equivalent to vegging a big bush like mine. You'll definitely be happier with the yield if you can stand to wait.

But you should turn around and start growing again, because a couple of Os will go pretty fast. You THINK they won't, but they will.:-P

The little brown spots are probably minor pH wandering. Not important unless it becomes pervasive.

Thanks, unfortunately, I don't have the benefit of another grow for quite some time. We get many visitors in the spring/summer. Also, our house is gonna go on the market in the summer...
I also, don't have the benefit to top, I need to start flowering in a week or two due to visitors coming in May.....

My next grow, I am going to start to veg inside in like feb. I will then do a large Hempy in a garbage pail outdoors.... I am just gonna fool around with it a bit and see how big I can get the monster.... I will use femenized seeds, and just go nuts get it as big as possible!!! It should be interesting!

As of now, my plants are gaining height and width each day.
the 3/4 feed I gave the other day induce slight nute burn on 2 plants, the others responded very well. I will continue to feed now at half strength. Fox Farms has their dosing way off!!
Statring to be able to smell the ladies once I move into the bathroom for watering, but nothing major.... I don';t even have my carbon filter going yet. Once I see a few flowers, I am sure it will be time to kick in the homeade carbon filter.
I have a mini carbon scrubber in the room to pre treat the air, then I will have a homeade carbon filter on my exhaust as well as some ONA pucks outside of the grow room, and some glade throughout the home!

More pics tonight or tomorrow night... Cheers!

Alright guys, here is a picture update. The plants are doing great. A little over waters, but that is passing. I am thinking ever 3-4 days instead of every 2...One more feed at 1/2, then I will try to move up a bit. Flowering in 1 week I think.....

Sorry man. They seem really overwatered/nuted. Those leaves need to be popping outward and upward. How much do the buckets weigh when the res is full? Let em get light when you lift them, then water. Don't flower until you get this sorted out.

Yeah, their drying out a bit now.... Every 2 days is way too much. I noticed it a bit at last water. They have always grown with leaves down like that, It is in the description of the genetics... But you can tell the leaves are overwatered at the moment. I will just let them dry out a bit more, then keep it at 1/2 strength nutes... See how things go...

Well shit..... I fucked up royally.... I decided to add my open sesame fert, at only half strength... wow, it dryed the shit outa my plants... I am hoping to save them tonight. Will flush with RO for the next week, and hope for the best... I was thinking I was over watering.... I guess it was the nute concentration pulling water from the leaves..... I was only at 1/2 the strength too.... Shit....
Well, these fox farms products are messed. The conc. they rocommend it WAY too high.
The plant are still good and frim, so I am sure they will rebound, it will just really effect my yield I am sure.

This is the first time I have deviated from Hempy's original reccomendation, anmd I am paying dearly for it! I will be going back to the tried and true method next time for sure!

I am thinking the clay at the bottom of the resevoir is holding the salts, so I am really going to have to flush every second watering and keep my nutes really low I think....

I don't want to post any picture out of sheer embarasment... Once, and if they turn the corner, I will share more pics with you all....
Cheers. MANNURSE!

Yeah, I was just following the schedule of the fox farm products, and at half strength too.... I have never used the solubles before. In My head, I was like, nope shouldn't be doing this, they are showing stress already.... But of course, didn't listen to my brain, went with my "want".
They are still fairly strong plant, leaf turgor is good, stems are strong, just a little burn going on, but not major at all. They will bounce back, it will probably taker about 2 weeks off my schedule, which is the most I can take. I will have visitors after that, and must be done...
Live and learn, live and learn....

Yea, I knew you were being pushed by 'social factors'.

I use Fox Farms and yea, you can't go by their recommendations at all. It's more like start at 1/4 strength and max out at 1/2 strength. That's why I have a PPM meter, so I really know what I'm putting in there. Not that that helps, my plants have had plenty of burn! I've been using cha-ching, but I started at 1/4 strength on top of my regular load. I'm afraid of the solubles! But I have very nice crystal formation and it caused a burst of new flowering after the second application. I'm on straight water now until the end.
