Finally something I can be proud of:mrgreen:

Planted 6 seeds Jan. 16th. 100% show!!!
3 ruderalis (feminized) and 3 k2s from Amsterdam (no sex show yet).

veg: 25 days topped at 22 days old
soil: Sweet Earth with coco.
food: Flora Bloom and molasses only and no food until 5 days ago!
flower: 25 days old they went into flower, very healthy.
cfls: until put on flower cycle 5 days ago w/ 400 watt hps.

So either I love them alot or they love me but so far our relationship is excellent!!!

What do ya'll think?:peace:

excellent. I'm not far behind you in terms of switching to 12/12, Plant around the same date and look very similar in size .....I'm interested to know about topping? what did you mean, are you refering to cuttings by ant chance?... keep up the good work

Topping is used when you want your babys to stay short bushy instead of tall and stretched, especially when height constraint is an issue.

What you do is at the 5 node or so you snip off the very top node (the newest one) and this redirects the growing energy into growing more side branches and at least two top colas will show up.

So far it is doing just what I wanted. Try it. How tall is your plant now?

8 perhaps 9in by now, 10 X PPP finishing 4th week of veg, 10 X Snow white just starting, 8th day of veg for the little ones, Under 400wts Hps and 2 600whts for flower period, I was hoping to take some cuttings? is this wise and would I be sucessful to you think ....

You can actually top and clone all in one snip. You can do it at the height they are at now. Just snip to the node and use what you snipped as your clone. This will work as long as the clipping you took for clone/topping is mature enough. You could try it on a couple of plants and see what the outcome is and if it is something that works for your operation.

Off to work now let me know what you end up doing very interested
Hvave a blast today,
Kathy

why are u using molasses so early? i was under the impression u want to use molasses the last two weeks of flowering to flush the plant out

Nope you can actually begin using it during flowering. You can add up to 2 teaspoons of molasses everytime you water the plants, that is 2 teaspoons per gallon of water.

There was an RIU member that experimented with molasses. He feed it and bloom nutes to 1/2 (I think) of his plants and the other 1/2 he just fed them bloom nutes. The molasses fed buds were beefier.

Hello all,

1: edit from my first post planted 2 ruderalis femanized, 1 unknown, and 3 k2's.

After not posting any updates for my grow in over a month i thought you may want to see waht has happened in my closet over that past month or so. Out of the 6 seeds 4 are female and juicy (2 ruderalis and 2 k2)

When i first began the flowering phase i was only using flora nova bloom nutes and molasses. Since then have added and fed Roots Organic bloom booster, Shooting Power, and uped the dose of molasses to 1-2 tablespoons per gallon. I use these for every water and still feed them Flora Bloom 2 times a week. The girls are very thirsty at this stage of their life (eating and drinking everything in sight) so it seems like i am in the closet at least every day to every other day giving them something. During the first 3 weeks of flower they seemed to be lagging behind as far as bud fattiness went so in week 4 i made 3 bottles of co2 (yeast, sugar, water) and added it to the grow environment. WOW! and the very next morning the girls were a bit fatter, stickier, and stinky started over night. :weed:

So how am i doin now? Think the girls are okay alive and well?
Send a clapper:clap: if you think its all good. Kathy

Looks fucking great dude! I always thought ruderalis produced like next to no thc? Great job and good luck

Thanks Word. Yep some strains dont produce much thc, maui waui for example, but the high is awsome and hangs on (couchlock) for awhile.

Ive smoked it a few times and it really kicked some butt. The two seeds i had were given to me a while ago, 2 or 3 years. i had no idea until they sprouted that they were viable. i was even more surprised when they began to produce buds. Indoor gardening is fun.
