The IMALENT MS18 Ambassador of Light is officially the world’s brightest flashlight

Who’s crazy enough to do a small run with this?
Can’t seem to find the color temp of the light, but I’m sure it would grow something. Seems like it gets super hot so I wonder if that may be a problem or not even with its heat sink & 2 fans!

It would be an expensive grow.
Batteries for sure go fast.
What do you figure the hanging height from canopy should be to not burn through the floor below it?
Lol

You're looking at 18 10$ diodes...probably 6-7$ to the manufacture, might as well use a regular AC/DC driver instead of a battery always being on a charger and losing efficiency there. 40-100$ based on power.

A heatsink that could withstand that dissipation for 12hrs a day...unlike that flashlight. At full current those LED could draw ~500w. $30-70

Anyways...If all 18 5000K LEDs were dirven at their max(2.4a)...they would output ~750umols total at 85c....basically just enough for a 3x3.
At half current ~450umols...a 2x2+

It's a bright flashlight but for $650 there are better options for growing plants than trying to rig that thing up. Having said that I do want one of them but there's no way in hell I'm paying what they cost.
I reached out to them & I’m trying to get them to send me one to show off on here. lol I saw them give a few out to some youtubers, so maybe they will send one this way. 1638661325638.gif

hell yeah.
Although I did just drop $450 on a big ass led for bike rides in the woods.
I thought that was embarrassingly extravagant.
