I have a sip question for those who use them. does anyone put anything like nutrients or supplements in your reservoir, and if you were able to drain and empty it with ease would you?
Just curious

One of my plants appeared to be running out of food so for experimental Ive been giving her hydro nutes into the res.At first it seemed to help, doses were week around 500 ppm every third top up.Looking at her now I think I overdid it. Or Perhaps the problems weren't food related.

Adding a drain, not something Id need.My plants need water every day at week 1-2 of flower and letting them dry out isnt good as roots fill the wick quickly after transplant.

Chopping has started. Took out a few plants and left a few that still need more time.
The vertical area did well. Plants seemed to grow away from the wall rather then up. The HPS above resulted in almost no stretch. Light was 40 or so inches away. They liked the strip leds up close. Will do something similar this next run 46E60A1E-298C-4393-8525-2841F99055FA.jpegDCD475EB-A4A1-497E-A34A-38F09BBF29AD.jpeg2146F399-CD9A-45C1-B919-4318217ED1BA.jpeg

Yeah Myke!!! That's good stuff!, keep going big.

Presently in my sip I use RAW NPK nutes and soil is a perlite, FF Hapy Frog and worm castings mix. I have ideas to go fully organic one day but later.
First pic is how I drain it if wanted, I'm glad my setup allowed me to just fit a pipe with a few hardware store parts, then with access to a drain not too far.

For now It's 2 good plants of Candy Kush arriving in a decent growth spree and just beggining to reach the net + scraps from a difficult cloning session (will improve the process nxt time). I expected 4 plants total in 2 containers but I think I will be ok with 2 good plants + a few more veg weeks. Maybe I will be better with 2 bigger plants in this setup for next grows also, not sure. Forced experiment right here! I feel like now is time to not fuck up.

... white stuff on top of soil is DE.

BONER!!!
Love the color! And flower density looks very high. Nothing beats properly grown organic, and yours look like a smooth/flavorful smoke. Well done!
