A whole day in the middle of flowering??!

Is it a problem to leave your plants without light for 24hrs if they are in the middle of flowering?? I know you can do this right before 12/12 but what about say 5 weeks into 12/12??

If I'm not mistaken, the plants rely more on the dark cycle then the light cycle to tell when to entering flower? Leave the lights off for 12 hours then stay on the 12/12.

On purpose, or due to a power failure or some other problem?

They will likely be ok. I've left the lights off 48 hours in veg. 5 weeks flower does sound dangerous for hermi conditions though. I'd say one cycle missed is the MAX, but I can't speak from experience in flowering.

On purpose. My thought behind this is that if you can speed up the entire flowering cycle by up to a week by having a 24hr dark cycle before the onset of 12/12 then perhaps you could boost this by having one more right in the middle of the flowering cycle... probably not but I was wondering if anyone could add any fact behind this...
