So life had its own idea of what I was about to do and I had to go harvest. Here's a few before:

Final post on this log. I gave away 99% of it. There were a bunch of very happy people. I littered throwing out the final gram 10 mi before Colorado / Wyoming border.

Then I went through Utah and Idaho and got to a free state, Oregon. Bought a very expensive gram but it was worth it. Lots of driving stress.

Then kept driving to Washington. Welcome from Washington. I can't see the point of growing anymore. I can get top shelf for 45 an ounce and I can get Hawaiian Maui wowie for 65 an ounce. I smoke an ounce every other month. I can't justify the cost of paying for nutrients and electricity and genetics and and and all the other costs that add up while growing plus the mental overhead of dealing with the possibility of bugs and disease and nutrient failure. Plus the space in my house. I have other things to do then water plants. It's cheaper and easier to buy here. And I like trying something new every time. And it will be much cheaper when I get my medical card.

I will admit I will miss the sticky goodness of fresh weed. And when buying commercial you just can't be sure what chemicals went in it no matter what the bag says or how long it's been sitting in that bag or what's growing in that bag along with the weed. So when I get my medical card I might grow four plants just for that pleasure and to assuage my fears of contaminants. But I can't justify it on a cost-effectiveness basis.
