About the 600w apollo ballast

Hi there guys,Im using 4 600w hps apollo ballast and locate them in a room on the 3rd floor.Under that room is my toilet of my room,every time I standin in my toilet room,I always hear the sound from the cooling fans of the ballasts !! Keep in mind that my ballasts are in a quiet thick room to kill off the sounds,I also put a radio near by to check RF shield and no problem !
But I still being so paranoia from the sounds,are there any way to cut off that sound (smt like kill the coolin fans and use out side fan to cool them) ? From the ballasts locate on a high place so I can't go out of my house to check,hope to hear the gud solutions from you guys,cheers

Next time buy better digi ballasts that are passively cooled....

You can try to move your remote ballasts outside of the grow room and have a circulation fan blowing directly on them to stop the internal cooling fans from running....

I did what u said,I moved all of them into a room next to grow room and that room is above my toilet,still hear the sound from cooling fans when standin in my toilet.In my opinion,only way to solve out this shit is cut down the wire to those fans but this is build-in fans and Im sucking at electrical things !
Btw,can you give me some good brand names,I want to buy a full kit of grow light because Im not in the USA so don't wanna mess up with parts by parts when buying separated parts !!! Maybe magnectic or good digi !

Thanks for ur help,I heard about Phantom and how do you think ? Did a research and saw lumatek has air cooled ? Correct me if Im wrong

Hey,can u list me some set that including hood with ballast,bulb ! I prefer air cooled hood

Today,I move my radio next to the cord of the lights and it become so noisy ! Im really paranoia

my ballasts make extra noise when not being cooled properly. put a fan on your 4 ballasts, they will stop humming so loud

my apollo 400 is super silent and runs very cool sitting on carpet.you didnt say what they are sitting on.a 3 sided box with any dampener.old blanket cut up and stapled to the sides and bottom.can go high end and buy inch thick foam.open top.based on my musician and sound reinforcement engineer exp. seems an easy fix instead of new equip

They r mounted on the parallel bars of wood that connects to the wall ! The reason why so noisy is the sounds come from the coolin fans,really hate that and I have a big fan out side to cool but can't help to reduce the noise

Really ? They make a lot of sound from the coolin fans

they are mounted thats why you hear them in the house.unmount them and place them on some carpet.
