? about tricomes

i got some purple diesel in there 9th or 10th week of flowering and i finally got my magnafying scope today and the tricomes are turning purple, will they turn amber or is purple the sign of ripeness. thanks.

Amber is usually what to look for. That seems like a long time in flower for an Indica although I am not sure about that strain.

Iv actually heard of purp tricomes, to bad you didnt have the mag earlier cuz what iv seen on here is, the purp tricomes are like the amber ones they will start off cloudy/purp and once done they become fully purp,

Mostly cloudy is your sign of ripeness. You know when the majority are cloudy when you begin to see a few scattered amber that is the best time to harvest indoor. For outdoor you will see a lot more amber trichomes before it is ready.

I have seen the purple trichomes on a strain called purple candy and yes they are a sign of the plant being finished. They can also be spidermite poop so scope them good and look for mites also.

if its a purple strain, arent you just seeing the purple of the plant, through a clear trichrome?
