Also wish they knew this market segment a bit better and understood many want to run two different size fans - i.e. 6" exhaust and 4" intake to maintain negative pressures. They say you can control 2 fans but they have to be the same size/model. Would vastly improve their products position for the growroom segment of their market.

I've thought about buying the 6" and 4" each with own controller and how I'd "tune" the settings to ensure I wouldn't have the intake jamming while exhaust wasn't pulling and start pushing odors out of the room (cracks & crevices/etc).

A few tweaks could make their product vastly better for us. Anyone figured out what platform that controller is built on? Hackable?

If you have an exhaust fan, you dont need an intake fan. The negative pressure created by exhaust fan will pull all the air into the tent that it needs.

Agreed. One good exhaust fan is all that is required. Open the passive intakes down low and call it good. I can see using a ducted intake if there is a need to pull air from another space for some reason, in that case we are talking a custom setup.

For me, I'm drawing from a bedroom and exhausting to a loft. Main reason for any intake assist was to keep it flowing but with lowest fan speeds possible for the quietest I can get it. Exhaust noise is currently an issue for me... At least when it kicks in on high.

This is kinda weird. My T6 will ramp up the fan when either temps or RH exceed my set points in auto mode.
Say I have it set to 81 degF and 60%RH for max limits.
If either of those conditions is met, it slowly ramps up fan speed to max until the condition falls below the set limit and then ramps down to off.
Works very seamlessly for me.
 
have you tried it in auto mode using the fan on humidity high limit? set the fan to the speed you want in ON mode, go to auto mode and set that to 55-60. The fan will shut off, the plants will breathe and humidity will rise back. The fan will then slowly ramp up to the ON speed, then if it can't satisfy it will ramp up to 10 on the alarm set point

I was confused at how it worked at first too but to me it makes alot of sense
I know this is a bit old but I have it set to constant speed of 2 then when it reaches temp or humidity it ramps up to on setting of 7 till satisfied how to I get it to automatically go to a speed of ten if reaches an even higher temp or humidity

you set the ON point to 10, or the alarm point to a lower setting

Anyone used the controller 67? I grabbed one but it's so many settings it was too much for me to set up

You can set minimum auto speeds with them. The problem with the regular controller is co2 is not replenished if the fan shuts off, I saw it first hand with my pulse pro

Now my fan is just set at a constant speed

I love the 67. But don't set it up on the unit...download the app and setup from there. I like the minimums and also the transition settings. I don't use the programming for Automations, but they'd help if you're juggling with CO2 related stuff.

I'm ideally wanting my humidity to stay in the 70% range right now, but with home furnace running pretty hard in the cold temps, this isn't real easy to maintain. What I'd like to do is have the fan stay OFF until it reaches say mid 70's%, then bring it down to 65ish%. How do I achieve this, or can I even? The best I can figure out is leaving it in ON position at 1 level, but then it proceeds to bring that drier air in too much.

Assuming its the standard controller...

It's not going to work like that. With the standard controller you can pick a high limit for the humidity, once it hits that point, the fan kicks on and ratchets up one setting at a time until it drops the temperature below the trigger point, then it'll shut off.

You set your maximum speed in the 'on' setting. Then you ratchet down to the 'auto' settings and set the upper humidity limit. Keep the unit in the 'auto' mode and you're good to go.
