Ace seeds

I just harvested 2 malawi x panama. Great yields, actually my best so far hitting scales at 21oz. Better yield than my malawi grow (avg 8oz a plant)

It does not require strong nutrients and finishes 12-13w. I did flip at 3 weeks veg to 10.5/13.5hr schedule to reduce stretch. She is quite strong and will make you forget exactly what task you were about to do.

Please excuse the jungly mess.

Malawi and Panama x PCK early flower.

The Malawi at the back is a beast, the other two are growing in its shadow.View attachment 5142881View attachment 5142882
Did you make the Panama x PCK cross or buy it? I made that cross back in 2018 I think before they had it for sale. I was calling it Pakima and then I saw ACE was offering it. I used the green PCK pheno and out of two female plants they were both green with no colors. Good weed. They were just growing outside in 3 gallon pots and were basically neglected all summer. One of them split down the middle so I used electrical tape to hold it together. I think I fed them liquid fertilizer twice. Other than that it was just water from the hose and you can tell by all the yellow leaves. They could have used some more food.

The branches were solid bud with an acceptable density. They weren't fluffy at all. I'm going to run some indoors to make fem seeds and cross it with Lebanese and Sinai.

A shot of one of the Malawi. Not the best photo. I'm surprised at how dense the buds are getting. It is pretty close to the light and I can't raise it any higher. Good thing about HID and air cooled hoods is you can get really close to the light. Just in 1.5 liters of coco. I overfed early and started to get some overfeeding issues. I have since dropped down to 1.0 EC and the plants have responded well but unfortunately the damage was already done. I should have just started at 1.0 and bumped up if needed instead of 1.6 and backing off. The malawi does not like too much nitrogen. I've been feeding Maxibloom 5-15-14 from the beginning so I didn't think I was overfeeding nitrogen at 1.6 but apparently I was.

I caught it but the plants are ugly and not nice and pretty the way I like them.

What height did you put them into flower and what height are they now?

I'm notorious for not taking notes other than what was pollinated with what but I'm 90% sure going by memory that particular plant was 16" +/- 1" when it went into flower. It's 48" now and has stopped growing taller. The others didn't get as tall. That one was topped and has 2 tops that I've had to support with stakes. They're really smelling nice. I can't wait to smoke that first bowl.

Those look great, especially for neglected plants. very nice! I don’t mind some fading fading.
I bought the strain, I think around 2020.
I have to say “pakima” is a much better name and less of a mouthful haha.

From the scents I’m getting already, I’m really looking forward to try mine.

I never got to sample my Sinai as the thieves had it, but from what I saw of the two I had, they would pair up quite well. Sounds like a great cross.

Good luck

Today will be the end of week 3 of 12/12 in my tent, but switching everything to 11/13 for tomorrow. Golden Tiger is the biggest gal, and still stretching everyday My Killer A5 Haze has only recently started to stretch a bit this week. Kind of hoping it ain’t done stretching and have been told both could possibly stretch for another 3 weeks.

Malawi on the left Panama x PCK on the right.

one of the Panama x PCK is considerably more resinous and has smaller buds and is slightly more spaced out in structure than the other, it’s just hidden in the back.
the other is already showing pink pistils on the very top, so hopefully I have a green and a purple pheno.

Two of the Malawi have a shorter structure and very little stretch in comparison to its monster sister. Its now above head height.
I’m 6’2 and the magic beanstalk is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Good heavens the difference between the Thai and Malawi genetics is crazy. Plus I got the extreme ends on also. Flowered at the same time and 1 plant is 3 times the size.

She is taking over the tent.

Golden tiger btw

I just recently finished a Killer A5 Haze that was very manageable. I had topped it and it had 4 main tops and ended up about 20 inches tall. I have a Golden Tiger I did the same with and it's stretching like crazy. It's 16 days in and I super cropped it yesterday to stop it from growing in to the light. Very long and stringy looking.

Yeah this one golden tiger just keeps going. I already chopped a good 6-8 inches from the tops. I had 4 mains from topping but had to chop those tops also when they hit the light.

Long stringy sativa sticks.

While the other plant is small and has solid nugs.

Two super malawi haze one is twice the size of the other. The small one has more symmetric spear leaves and the tall one is more variegated. Think I'm getting a smell that is kiwi lemon flower something and then turns to sweet strawberry on the finger for a minute.
