I'm fine hanging on until the Gov gets their shit sorted. I don't need any changes from my old pinks. HC already has all current MMAR patient info anyways, they don't need us on the new system...especially if they're just gonna squash it into legal MJ next year. I'm sure I read HC was gonna ask Phelan to leave the injunction in place? At any rate, the new Reg's need to get past Conroy, Tousaw, and most importantly Phelan's BS meter. I'm not pulling the trigger until the legal beagles chime in.
 
I was on the phone with health canada today, they acmpr is basically the same as the mmar, with the exception that you are now allowed to make eddibles and other products from your cannabis. Also the injuction stays in place... I asked what happens if i go onto Acmpr program and was told that i would be able to switch my address. From health canada it sounded as if those under the injuction would have almost a dual (injuction grandfathered) while being able to switch. August 24th... Day regs came out.
No heresay...

Found a doctor today $1500 lol. Gonna phone two more tomorrow and see what they are charging. For 1500 I'd better get 50+ grams per day.

They can't charge for the prescription but they can charge for the private visit and any paper work associated with it. I had a $1300 bill from my doctor to write a medical review for ICBC after my car accident.

No doctor in Canada can charge for ANY HC paperwork. They may try charging for their time, but ANY HC documents are excempt from charges of any kind...coast-to-coast!

You are paying for a membership / consulatation/ and information to there club. That is the loophole and they can get away with it. Any system that is built, there is usually away to go around, so for those like you That say thay can't charge just showed you away Jack...

Who's Jack?
There is no membership, no clubs to join (unless you're signing up with an LP), and in ON, docs cannot charge patients for consultations...they have bill OHIP. So if you find a doc trying to rape a "loophole" charge out of your pocket for filling out HC documents, report them to your provincial medical authority.

Whatever you put out on the internent is left forever and how people will judge your credibility.

So let me address you since I am right. I won't say the clinic that does this, because for you report a drs that are willing to sign when so many are not smart.

Its called a consulatation fee and not paperwork. Some drs charge for a dr's note, but think whatever you want too.

I speak facts and not hersay, but hey I see you have been part of the system.

Point being in the small world you revolve around, you only know what you know and thats just it.

I've been MMAR since 2003, AND a member here since 2006...you?
I've been a known part of the online MMJ scene since 1997...you? We're not talking about Dr.'s notes...we're talking about filling out official HC documents...which are excempt from charges by Dr.'s. Oh and my credibility is just fine thx! ;)
