Adam's OG clone only grow

More pics. I've been playing with different ways to cure the weed.

So I got a case of bud rot. It wasnt bad. And i rechecked every bud. It was only in a few of my "new harvest" jars. So I did even bother check and threw those jars into the freezer. Then I went through each jar and each of its buds and finally got things back in their jars that I salvaged. The only thing is that I mixed up my harvests a little bit, but no biggie. Heres a pic of the bud rot. And then the others pics are of my personal stash after going through everything. Glad to have it back in jars. (Took a week to go through and examine each bud from each jar, maybe bc I'm lazy)

Testing out the camera on my "new" phone. The white skunk (last 2 pics) has been jarred for over s year now, I believe. Smells and looks better than ever to me. I've never stored cannabis that long before, hence why the post. The Adams OG pic (first few pics) is some from my last harvest.

I routinely inspect my buds every few months for mold or anything weird or degrading. So far, things are staying surprisingly fresh. Some or the best smelling bud I have is from my first harvest, white skunk which has been jarred for over a year now. One thing I regret is getting 55% integra packs for long term storage. It made the smoke way to dry. 59% would be perfect. 62% packs seems to be pretty good, but too wet for long term storage. Yet 58% and below feels to dry. Here's pics of me pretending to be in drugs inc.

More pics of Adams OG from different harvest. I'm sure there is a point where the weed will start to degrade, but so far, it's still only getting sweeter tasting and smelling. It's starting to smell more like an orange creamsicle now rather than the strong blast of gas and citrus that would make people's eyes water. Much smoother...could be degradation of terpenes or could be that they have formed into a more homogeneous terpene called orange creamsicle. Sounds right

Hey good people. I'm looking for a good way to put this in long term storage for a rainy day. Much has already been jarred for over a year and the rest being close to it. After searching online, most people seem to talk in terms of months as long term. So far, the seems to have been little to no degredation but that could just be a frog boiling. I have vacuum sealer and bags. I just ordered the vacuum mason jar sealing accessory as that seems like it at least would not hurt the bud. Basically I'm asking what you guys would do to preserve this for another time. And I'm assuming it would have to deal with some form of vacuum sealing. Anyway, thanks for reading. I might make a new thread bc there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of people with first hand experience storing for years. It's a question that seems to continually be answered with only "theoretically" replies. "Theoretically it should last blah blah." I said GOOD DAY SIR

Thanks for sharing!
What is the proper name of those large jars?
They look like good quality.
I'd like to find a source for the one with the plastic seal.
Curious if you, @Hydrowannabe, got yours delivered via a shipper?
Looking forward to reading your opinion about the vacuum accessory results.

Once I hit that 62-63 mark in the cure, and it holds steady, I vacuum seal in the food saver bags until it's 'squished' but not 'crushed' and then throw in a NON frost free freezer for long term storage.. my cured buds always come out as fresh and sticky as the day I put them in the freezer.. works perfect for me

I actually got those other larger jars from the same grocery store I get my mason jars from. I actually still have the box, so I'll post a pic. I actually really liked those jars. They look great and have a great seal. Anyway, I got most of the jars loaded up and vacuum packed in the mason jars (with 58% boveda packs) with the mason jar accessory. It seems to have made a decent vacuum in the jars. If you were talking about the really big cookie jars,..I just picked those up when I saw them, I think at a craft and hobby store

Thanks for advice. It's lines up with exactly what I've read elsewhere, so it must work well. I was wondering about how much i should vacuum the bags if I were to go that route with other nugs. ...now I know 8-)

Here's another pic of Adam's OG from last harvest as I was jarring things. Gotta love that spiral shape
idk why i was taking such shotty pictures with the flash on. Guess i was trying to make them trichs shine a littler brighter....made the colors look like shit tho hah. Note to self: stop, stop growing
