Add Silica to Reservoir Tank?

In my peat based media I have wallastonite to provide silica in solid form. I saw many commercial Silica additives which sometimes appeared expensive such as Dutch Pro Silica Von Liebig or others, added to the reservoir tank.

My quesiton is: Does there exist some home-baked solution to adding silica to your fertigation tank? Such as Si02? Or some other mineral form or liquid form compatible with hydro?

I've used all of them and now use Potassium Silicate, the brand I choose is CYCO I get 5 liter jugs of concentrate for 15 dollars.. Pretty cheap @ 4ml/gal..

I use (Potsil) to raise the ph it's the highest concentration of potassium silicate I could find in the UK 1ml/5ltr = 46ppm si + 22ppm K2o + alfalfa
Iirc its 4/5 times more concentrated than growth technology silicon for roughly the same price.

Silicon dioxide (=sand) bioavailable?!? :wall:

BTW you still own me to show proof of your ludicrous claim of a flowering 2 weeks from sprout plant. And not 4 weeks or lame preflowers ;)
i guess you forgot to use the google, huh??
Bulletproof Si ® delivers silicon in a form that may be utilized in virtually any fertilizer regimen. The silicon form (SiO2) has shown to increase agricultural production, yield, strengthening plants, promote resistance to stressors like heat, cold, drought, lodging, accelerate maturity, promotion of a advantageous upright stature which leads to favorable exposure of leaves to light.

not sure what that other diarrhea you posted was about.

But that's just an ad slogan, I'm not buying that much into it unless I understand the underlying chemistry behind it. Many of these SiO2 products are alkaline but silicic acid is not. What gives?
