Adding a dimmer

Hi, newbie here. I am considering a light such as the one pictured. My question is, it comes with 3x ELG 240 Mean Well drivers drivers and no dimmer. Am I able to get an aftermarket dimmer for these drivers? This is the 600w version with 3 drivers, they also sell a 400w version with 2 drivers and 4 panels and that version appears to come with the dimmer. Couldn't I theoretically use the same dimmer over 3 drivers? Thanks

Could you ask them to add the dimmer model? would only be a few bucks more.
Better message them as I haven't seen anyone sell LED growlights with drivers without a dimmer

If you didn't already know.
If the model number has the letters ending with..

A - Has built in potentiometer for V and current
B - Has 2 extra output wires for resistor or 0-10v dimming
AB - Has both of the above
If it's blank it has no built in dimming function !

I asked them to include it. They said basically said no and gave me a large spiel about how I should still purchase the item. Thanks for the legend there that is helpful. I guess I can ask them to send me the specific driver model number the 600w comes with so I can verify it has a dimming function. Thanks for the reply.

I'm just concerned about going from a 300w veg light straight to a 600w bloom light without gradually increasing the wattage to 600w. It doesn't shock them?

Looking good! You're going from 800w veg to 800w bloom then? I'm still wondering what the effect is going from 300w to 600w overnight is I guess.

I've vegged plants and clones in a smaller 2x2 tent under a cheap blurple and then replanted them and moved them right into 800w and no shock at all that I've noticed

Hah it's funny cuz I've bought so much SH*T to try and grow weed and most of it is really unnecessary. A good light, fans, 7-gal fabric pots with soil and I mix powdered nutes. No fancy additives. And whatever it takes to keep the temp/RH in your grow room okay... in the northeast it's an AC and dehumidifier. I got a cheap pH and ppm analyzer, which you don't use much once you know how to mix. For a while I was using a reservoir with a chiller and drip feeding Blumats, which work great but it's a lot of crap to set up if you're just growing a few plants. I do better keeping it simple.
