adjust a wings problems

hey everyone. i have the adjust a wings 600w hps light setup. it has a digital ballast. my friend gave it to me as a gift. apparently it costs alot and theyre supposed to be very good. jorge cervantes says it in his book and dvd. now, twice i have turned it off, when i plug it back in it wont turn on immediately. first time i FREAKED OUT. thankfully it turned on like 10 to 15 minutes later. phew relief. i thought everything was ok. so today i turned it off again for 6 hours. plugged it back in, and went to the store assuming when i get back itll be on. the fucking thing was off when i got back. i FREAKED OUTTTTTTTTTTT again. tried all the plugs on the walls with a small lamp i have and they all work, but the adjust a wings wouldnt go on with any of them. finally after 36 minutes it went on. thank god. does anybody have this light system? if you do, is this normal? should i be worried? any input would be great. also, other people with different system of lights than this, has this happened to you? is there a way to fix it? please all comments welcome as soon as possible, before i go and spend more money on lights. Taking a while to fire-up could mean your bulb has had alot of use and needs replaced. If not the bulb then I would say it's a problem with your ballast. If not your ballast it may be a circuit problem in your house but that sounds somewhat doubtful as it turns on eventually without having to flip a breaker or anything.
