Adjusting ph based on runoff

I water my hempy plants with a ph of 5.8. I checked my runoff and realized it was at 6.4. If I continue to water at 5.8 will the ph of the container eventually stabilize at 5.8 or do I need to start watering with a lower ph, maybe 5.4, until the ph of the run off comes down? I am in 3/4 gallon hempy containers, 50/50 mix of perlite and vermiculite. I also have a few that are straight coco coir with a perlite rez. I use the full line of dyna-gro nutrients. Plants are about 3 weeks old.

If your plants look good, i would not fret. You're watering at a good pH, and the runoff is acceptable. If you have some lime in the mix, I'd expect the runoff to be a bit sweetened.
I would not drop the pH of your feed. cn

Thanks man. I will stick to what I am doing then. One plant, that is in less medium than the rest, is showing major phosphorous def though. I am just going to give it some dyna-gro grow instead of foliage pro on this watering and see how it responds. Grow is 7-9-5 and foliage pro is 9-3-6.

How do you know it's phosphorus? That is one of the "quieter" deficiencies imo. With those nutrient ratios, I'd suspect Ca, Mg or K. Are pics an option? cn

I think it's phosphorous because the leaves are spotting purple and rolling like they just took .2 of molly. Yeah I was about to go water my plants but started reading a pretty good thread. Going now. Thanks again.

Quick Note: I just pulled it out under some normal lighting and it's not really purple, more burnt up looking. This makes a lot more sense because this plant was planted half way down into the container as kind of an experiment when I ran out of mix on my last pot. It's grown the fastest because it hit the rez so much sooner but it is also picking up the nutes a lot faster than the other plants. Straight water for her tonight.

The first two shots are all the plants. The third shot shows the ones in coco. The last two are of the burnt up one.
