Advance Nuits - Feeding

First post to the forum -

I am considering changing lines to the Advanced. For most that I have read, they are all about the hydro, and I grow in soil. The AN feeding chart is difficult to use, and I'm not looking fry my ladies.

Here is what the plan is....for Veg

Soil - 50/50 mix of Happy Frog and Ocean Forrest
7 Gal Root pots
1000w MH bulbs

I'm using the Sensi A & B with B52 and Voodoo

Chart says 16ml Sensi A/&B and 8ml of B52 and Voodoo.

However, I'm confused on the chart as per week.....or every feed. Is anyone using a similar setup?

I use a 50/50 mix of Happy Frog and B/cuz for veg in one gal bags and after sexing repot into 3gal bags with straight ocean forest. I don't usually have to add any additional fertilizer for 2 to three weeks. I use the fox farm nutrients and NEVER have needed to add more than one tsp per gallon of grow fertilizer during the entire veg cycle. During flower I switch to tiger bloom, again introducing that fertilizer at very reduced rates. There's a lot of good already in your soil and I think a lot of the bad rap about burning plants using those products comes from using the soil AND the recommended feeding schedule.

Seven gallons of the mixture you described would take you well into flowering for your nitrogen requirements and you may find a good bloom fertilizer is all you need to finish them off. Good luck and here's a photo of my latest grow at 28 days when I kicked it over to flower.

Here a peek at last go around with General organics. I am happy with results, however, the organics do not last long in the res, hence the reason to switch over to advanced. rocklock 6weeks.jpg

If your gonna run advanced I'm not sure how it will work with happy frog. I'm sure it will but may have to tweak a little. Give there sunshine mixes a look.

Ok for the regiment of how to use:

week one clones seedlings: 1 ml per liter of bases and 1ml per liter of b52 and voodo jujuice

week two: 2 Mls per liter base up the b 52 up now a little too. No voodo

week three: 4mls per liter b52 now at 2mls per liter only need voodo first week of new plant

flower: by this time your plants should be acquired to a good feeding schedule, continue with 4 Mls per liter just like in veg but now with bloom a and b. 2 Mls on the additives.

This is for their ph perfect which I would recommend because of its ease of use really don't need ppm or ph meter at all only time is with the rush you'll need to ph to mediums desired levels.

its real important with ph perfect to have good run off. If used correctly the results are absolutely stellar. If you have more questions just ask didn't want to write a huge novel but that's pretty much the directions.

The new ladies are grown up some, just transplanted from 1 Gal to the 7 gal pots. They have been getting G.O up to now, but the science experiment continues :) I will try and get a pic of the veg room later.

Won't matter soil or hydro with the ph perfect it runs in all mediums awesome. I run it with coco and have great results.

I am using a RO system for water, and i am used to PHing water everytime, so the sensi grow was an easy choice for me and cheaper. For the last go around, in veg, the girls were getting fed every 2 days. If they are getting same feeding this go.....my plan, Do I give them the full 16ml per gal twice a week? I was also told water once a week too.

Any chance you could do a schedule for dwc with A.N sensi ph perfect for me, I find their nute calculator just stupid!

I did talk to a rep from AN today. They recommend the "week" feed chart be used with every feed for that week. I was under the impression that the amounts was entire week. Hope that helps clear up issues with feed schedule. I will be trying the every other method. Feed - Water - Feed - Water.

Yea if your not in hydro you will have to implement a reg water in between feedings sorry I didn't mention that to you before. Just stick with it before you know you will have become familiar with how the line runs and will acquire confidence in what your doing. The line is absolutely amazing when implemented correctly.

You listed full strength feedings. Do NOT feed full strength. 1/4 strength to start at the most meaning 2 ML each of A & B. The B52 and VooDoo Juice do not matter as far as nute burn.

By the way I can confirm that ph perfect isn't so perfect at 1/4 strength! Only takes it down a tad. This is to be expected hope it works at full strength :peace: budie

I am running a side by side comparison with the AN (grand master) vs General Organics. I truly hope the experience is worth it. But great to know I always have a good plan (G.O.) to fall back on in event of a catastrophic failure. For the price difference, I need at least 25% bigger yield. Time will tell.........
