Advanced nutrients. Bene's and synthetics nutes,

So excuse my ignorance if you find this question stupid, but I need clarification.

I have always been under the impression that synthetic nutrients and organics (beneficial bacteria) should not be mixed. Mainly because the synthetics will basically kill the bacteria.

That said, advanced nutrients offers their whole line mixed with exactly that, synthetics and Bene's (pirahana, tarantula, voodoo).

So is it the synthetics that kill the Bene's, or is it the tap water containing chlorine?

And since I'm on the subject, which of the 3 Bene's above would you recommend to use? I've heard good things about all 3 but they seem redundant. Voodoo is the cheapest of the 3 so I was leaning towards that, But people seem to say pirahana is the most beneficial when it comes down to it.

Sorry for the long post, just trying to be thorough.

Nitrates limits microbe life, as does EDTA. Which is why they have you inoculating your medium multiple times throughout the life cycle.

Also fuck Piranha. Photosynthesis Plus has a lot of the same organisms and is a lot cheaper. VooDoo though is a good buy, because it contains a higher concentrated amount of bacillus strains than the competition. Meaning you could run lower doses of it and it would work as well as a lot of it's competitors getting you the most bacillus for your $ when it comes to most bottled bacillus products.

Mick, coming through again!
Makes sense though, I figured there was a catch.

But all in all, as long as I were to periodically (every other feed or so) use the voodoo juice, the plants would still be able to benefit from the microbes? As opposed to pure organic growing, inoculation would probably only be necessary 1 maybe 2 times throughout the plants life.

What system are you using?

Yeah I would just inoculate the voodoo as directed. first two weeks in veg, and the first two weeks in flower. Check out Photosynthesis Plus though it is the only thing I truly think every grower should check out.

Hmmm.. I might have to look into the photosynthesis plus considering the price. . . Would you recommend it to replace voodoo?

I realize Advanced nutes are WAY overpriced, but for whatever mind numbing reason, I want to try them. And would prefer to stick with most of their line when I do. Just to see for myself ya know.

~H&G roots excel

That's pretty much What I was going for. Not sure if roots excel is necessary with having voodoo juice.. I'm still new to microbe bacteria so my knowledge of it is pretty slim if you couldn't already tell.
I just don't want to buy anything redundant, but I do want what's best for the ladies.

No I would use it along side VooDoo, but I use it once a week the entire life cycle of the plant.

AN uses anaerobic bacteria which you don't want... in DWC voodoo juice is a known slime trigger. We use aerobic bacteria that prefer high oxygen environments (like your root zone hopefully).

Great white, aquashield, pond-zyme, ancient forest humus are all options that don't suck; the great white and ancient forest humus have the most diverse species (bacteria, fungi, nematodes, etc).

Definitely don't use water that contains chloramine with bennies.
