I am starting to use it and wondered if anyone had any experience with it that could give me any good tips (i.e., amount to use per gallon, how long, any pH issues) and if the results were positive.

the only thing i have been giving my plants besides the big bud is
molasses, some cheep walmart bloom burst with a npk of 10-52-10
when they were in veg i gave them supper thrive and vigoro all purpose plant food . needless to say i have not had the worst of luck with this stuff
i have yet to burn anything and the last thee grows have given me just over 7 oz .

like everyone else im looking to do the best i can for my girls so any input would be grate . so far i have only given the plant one feeding of the AN big bud with about a tbl spoon of molasses.

for those of you that dont know im growing G13 Labs Afghan Mafia under a 400w hps in a grow space that is only 2feet x 2 feet x 6 1/2 feet. my temps are anywhere from 70*f-77*f daytime and 50*f-55*f at night my RH is 16-18%.
i have a fan bringing in air form the basement window via a 4 inch dryer tube and a fan sucking air out form under the light into the attic .

I used it on my last grow but I couldn't tell any difference. It might have gotten a little bigger than if I had not used it; I just don't know for sure.

get a ppm pen and cut out the other bloom fertilizer, you can use big bud at 800 ppm as long as you flush every 3rd watering. ppm meter is very important.

Ph goes down very slightly. I do see a difference, especially in density.

That's good to hear because I got a great deal on a 500 gram container of it off of Ebay and I wanted to try it out, if I can ever get my plants out of veg.

Big bud is usually used in the flowering phase, in the last weeks of flowering I add AN Overdrive, I usually get nice big thick buds.

OK well now what ? i have used it by its self twice now .
i have noticed that my resin count or the amount of crystals have tripled since i started using it along with the buds looking heavier. us this going to mess up my plants ?

No, don't worry about it. Just take the basic nutes and add big bud to it from now on. I'm not saying that you CAN'T only use Big Bud, but your plants will show certain deficiencies if you do that. If your plants look healthy now, don't worry about what you did, just treat from here on out.

OK i guess i now need to ask ...... what else do i give my plant along with the big bud ? i have no hydro store or any good place to get anything worth a crap for it .
do you think i could add some of my expert Gardner bloom burst 10-52 10 to the mix?
if so that would bring the npk to 10-67-50 ? sounds high to me . how would igo about makeing up for the ferts that i have missed for the last 2 waterings ? the last time i watered was today .

i also read the label on the jar and it said this "use big bud in mid to late flowering as part of the plus formula, or use it throughout flowering if using big bud as you only flowering enhancement"..... now does that mean that i can use it alone or do they mean enhancement as some other flowering additive along with normal fertilizers?

Ok, forgive me if you already said this, but I'm buzzing quite well right now, and can't seem to find it in any previous post, but can you answer the following question for me:

Are you growing in soil or in hydro?

If the answer is soil, all you need is a basic plant fertalizer. If you don't have a hydro shop near you, go to a nursery or home depot. the all purpose Shultz formula works well. Add whatever it says to add, then add Big Bud along with it. Your soil usually has enough nutes to get by, but by mid to late flowering it runs out of nutes, so you need to start adding some. Most people prefer to add it starting with flowering, if I'm not mistaken, just to make sure. I'm not big on soil though, so I can't be sure.

If you are growing in hydro, you need to order a basic nute right now. Your plants will run out of the nutrients that are necessary to live. There are a thousand different types of nutes, so read up and look around, but http://www.htgsupply.com/nutrients.asp?categoryID=2&subcategoryID=105 works well enough. The bloom enhancer is what you want.

As far as 'making up for the nutes you missed' --- you can't. If you try to add extra nutes this time because you didn't the last time, you'll give your plants nute burn and possibly kill them, if not just stress them out. Don't worry about it, there is nothing you can do about the past, just move on. Everything will be ok, I promise.

Why do you think Super vit is better than Superthrive..I use superethirve..and I also have A.N B-52 liquid..which is upposed to be the best all around b-vitamin formula for plants..cus thats all superthrive and supervit is mostly b-vitamins....IO really like that fact that supoerthrive has over 50 different vitamins..and supoer vit only has around 10...so does anyone else use superthrive??
