Fuck Monsanto on the fact they sue independent farmer for "their cut", due to open field cross pollinating. They've gone as far as using govt supported operations in poorer countries to burn independent farms that became naturally cross pollinated.

Fuck them in the ass with a hot poker made of razor wire:finger:. It's life, you shouldn't be able to "own" the rights to a life form. I'm going to modify human genes, claim ownership, and start selling slaves, that's reasonable, according to how they operate, right?

Any producer of an outrageously overpriced item in the hobby hydroponic shops will be losing thier asses in the next 5 years. Mark my words. No one is going to spend big bucks on crazy priced nutrients when ounces of fire flame Cookies at the greenhouse just outside your town is less than 50 bucks. And its coming. Watch. I got friends in Colorado and California that just quit growing because so much good bud everywhere. And the prices were jaw dropping cheap.
This is simply the best example of an over saturated market......

Our state is going to go limited, lic. high # cultivators. What will this cause?

Due to it being taxed at every level - production - transportation - processing - transportation - point of sale.
Per gram costs of as much as $30 have been estimated. Now, I don't "see" that as happening but, point of sale costs will be HIGH!

So they are going to bolster the "street" market for top shelf and those prices should rise slightly. Quality growers will shine through the pack of novice, low experience growers.

WHY? Because the 500 -1K and 1.5K industrial growers will fall into the "business mentality" of growing. Runs will be harvested by time. Not by being actually finished. They will run limited genetics, that will fit their growing rotation sched. You will see the use of "forbidden" chemicals to treat molds and insects! The big guys of business growing can't afford to loose a crop and this is still not federally legal sooo, no crop insurance is available......

These things have been seen as a problem In Canada and in commercial operations in the US........ Large scale commercial ops, run for profit only. Do NOT care about the consumer.

Your local quality grower does! Cutting edge genetics of the day. Tried and true high end genetics of the past. Clean and properly grown and finished products made available to discerning customers, will command higher prices.

Increased state laws and penalties, will increase the risk of the underground grower serving these fussy smokers. Thus prices will reflect the quality and risk.....

Our state has shot it's self in the foot on MM laws ever since the rightwingers took over. They say their getting overage off the street and all they really did was put more on, by removing the legal transfer by caregiver to disp.

My state did the same thing years ago for medical, now for rec. We have, I believe, less than a dozen dispensaries for med, even though it's been law for 5+years. They just pushed out the opening of rec shops. I've heard people paying 300+/oz at med facilities and what I've seen is, mostly, crap, IMO. And here I am thinking of dropping my prices because I'm not as happy with my bud as I'd like to be these last couple runs, and feel I'm not giving people what they expect. Damn conscience..:wall:

I feel sorry for the med patients in Western Washington, seems as all the "medicine " is rock hard , mostly flavor/scentless but its trimmed magazine perfect. Size and looks make money ,the love and care in all this over fed hydro bud is missing and it shows in the final product.

What a stupid fucking thread. You want to bash Scotts/Miracle Gro so you post a propaganda video made by a pedo/pedo supporter.

Big Fuck Face Mike went on Tv and claimed he's trying to buy the government of Bulgaria. Gino is an international drug smuggler who's under investigation multiple times by the RCMP for some really nasty connections.

So you want to shit on a company that operates within the law by promoting a company that operates outside it? Has associations with things from Murder, Drug Trafficking, Child Rape etc.etc.etc.

They aren't part of this community any more than hydroton is. They sell Hydroproducts and buy booths at expo's whoopity fuck. They've been widely regarded as a rip off for as long as I have been growing. AN is the Greenhouse seeds of Nutrients.

Ok.

You just happen to post their hype.

Overpriced and bullshit claims.

Miracle grow and scotts?

These are all companies tied to Monsanto. Why not say something about them? I bet you buy some of their products.
I've seen this list multiple times. I guess because the main topic here is weed and most people probably wouldn't be interested much. I'm sure the more they're exposed the more consumers will start to look elsewhere. I myself included.......

Some of you really lack basic comprehension. I've stated multiple times the post was in no way promoting AN, I just found the video warning about Scotts amusing. I'll be using Jacks or Blue planet like I stated here and on a powder vs liquid thread a few weeks back. Someone else already posted ( on this thread ) how disgusting that guy is. So please read before you go throwing inaccurate accusations.

I use AN's pH-perfect sensi coco, it's so freaking easy I see no point in using anything else. I prefer coco bud to soil grown.
Almost all decent base nutrients are pH stable, never had to pH mine ever and I don't and never will use AN.

You're seriously overpaying. Those are crazy prices in the current market.

Find a new shop or grower.
Not in California unless one wants to smoke low quality flowers that haven't been lab tested. They have 35$ eights, I just like those breeders. You get what you pay for.
